Crystal Mesa has really pretty vistas from anywhere on the property. The main house is filled with interesting artifacts and has a good library with many books about what is available to see and do locally. It is extremely comfortable and I felt right at home. I came here after reading positive reviews on Tripadvisor; and I have come to a conclusion that 1) there was a change in ownership, 2) the owners wrote the reviews, 3) the reviewers for this place were on crack. best, B & B or hotel we have ever stayed out. most beautiful location. located between madrid and santa fe. only a few miles from santa fe, also only a few miles from madrid and some really really cool abandoned turquise mines. Both my husband and I loved staying here. The area is very peaceful, with the main "noise" coming from the yips of coyotes at night, which we loved listening to as we sat looking at the stars. We stayed in the Sunset room, which was gorgeous and very comfortable. This place is truly a rare find and we were delighted....

Crystal Mesa farm is just a delight. The accomodations are clean, comfortable and very attractive. The property is lovely with all sorts of animals and beautiful views. Pleasant, relaxing stay on a farm/ranch on the southern outskirts of Santa Fe. Our room was spacious and decorated in the style of the region. The welcome was a bit unusual. We arrived early (Nov '07) at 1:00 to a locked gate. No one answered the phone. The sign near the front gate said check-in was 3:30 to 7, so...

Beautiful accommodations , peace & quiet, and plenty of places to explore! Very friendly and personable host made us wonderful French pancakes for breakfast!!
