This is a great base for hiking, shopping, opera, everything. A nice, big patio for relaxing with coffee in the morning, and a glass of wine during happy hour. I really enjoyed the other guests and our host, Dan. Comfortable rooms and spacious lobby, often with cookies or pie set out for the taking: the blueberry lemon chess pie was...

My room was located adjacent to a wonderfully shaded patio where many of the guests gathered through the day. This may seem to be a bother due to loud conversations, and it would be a most inns, but the thick adobe walls of the inn kept noises out of my sleeping quarters. The fellow guests are as much a draw...

Bob, thank you for the kind review! We do love our returning guests and agree with you that our guests are quite special along with our classic rambling adobe villa! We love Opera season and all the great conversations had on our patio with wine and at our breakfast table. Thank you for booking again next year! We look forward...

rooms that are on one level--away from main house-- (older section) would be more comfortable than in newer section. Also, be prepared to carry luggage upstairs due to no elevators. The bed was not the greatest---okay for one person but 2 was crowded.

We've been staying at the Inn during opera season for 15+ years. Beautiful and relaxing gardens; fascinating part of Santa Fe cultural history; great breakfasts; helpful and friendly hosts and staff; and a short walk to the Plaza. Best part is the interesting mix of guests the Inn attracts. Discussions at breakfast and during the evening wine and cheese hour...

Great Experience. Family vacation to Santa Fe with great eats, great conversation, and great wine. Then we left the inn and life seemed a little less because of it. You have to have the breakfast here, and the night time wine is fantastic 😀 🍳🍷

This is a lovely place. Great design and fittings. An excellent breakfast and courteous host. It is located a little way from the centre of town, but it is a short and pleasant walk there in any case. Good accommodation in Santa FE is generally expensive, and although this place was more costly than some, its quiet, charm and location...

Very authentic hacienda with all the comforts you really need. Great breakfast. Nice peaceful gardens to relax and friendly hosts. Already booked a return visit. Real history of Santa Fe's art scene from the 1930's you can feel.

In late July, we were greeted with an aesthetic oasis of beautiful gardens and landscaping, a fountain, and artful sculptures nestled among the flowers and nooks and crannies of this adobe-style hotel. Alex greeted us at the door, and soon we enjoyed the late afternoon wine and homemade cookies and brownies offered in the living room for guests. We stayed...

Place for arty intellectual types. Old adobe buildings, lots of charm. Beautiful flower garden. Lots of stairs. Lots of places to sit and read a book. Most everybody was in town for the opera. Great breakfast and great conversation too. Plaza is walking distance.
