We stayed here for a holiday weekend a while back and it was so, so lovely. Dan was kind and super helpful, breakfast was delicious, and our room was charming. The fireplace gave it an especially cozy feel. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We will absolutely be staying here again!

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to visit Santa Fe Desa! As you experienced, from mid-October to mid-April we clean and set the fireplaces for our guests to enjoy. All but one of our guest rooms have wood-burning fireplaces for guest's use. We enjoyed having you and Jake stay with us. Hurry Back....Summer is beautiful here also!

The Turquoise Bear is the perfect Sante Fe B&B. The setting is peaceful and beautiful and sometimes had trouble finding the motivation to leave the patio area. The breakfast each day was creative and delicious. We brought our dog and he was welcomed with open arms. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Dan!

We loved our stay at the Turquoise Bear. The Inn was charming and the outdoor sitting areas inviting. The location is great; easy walk to the downtown plaza and restaurants. We really enjoyed the social hour and tasty wine and chocolate pecan pie. The breakfast included creative smoothies that were healthy and delicious. Dan, the innkeeper, was very considerate and...

Thank you for the kind review Dennis! We enjoyed having you and Donna stay with us. Many of our guests enjoy our beautiful, peaceful estate while being so close to Santa Fe's treasures. We're happy you enjoyed our breakfasts and bourbon, chocolate-pecan chess pie! Friday is always Pie-Day at the Bear! Happy Travels!

Heaven romantic! This historic former estate, once frequented by the artistic luminaries that Santa Fe is famous for, has beautiful terraced gardens and lovely rooms with thick adobe walls and original details. It's hard to leave the place to go downtown, which is a quick drive, or walk. The Inn of the Turquoise Bear is obviously a labor of love...

This is a tasteful and beautiful property set in a quiet, but well located party of the Santa Fe. It is not cheap, but for similar properties at Sanata Fe its price was not outrageous. My only real issue with the Inn was that the service from the manager was somewhat perfunctory and lacking in warmth which took the edge...

Thank you for the review Brian! I regret you felt our service wasn't what you wanted it to be. We strive to delight our guests in every way! I know you were disappointed with the Wi-Fi performance in your room but I was unaware of any other dissatisfaction. I'm happy to report that we've completely re-wired our Inn and placed...

Inn of the turquois bear is an excellent b&b. The location is great if you want to be close to the plaza and canyon road. It is also a very comfortable stay as well. The Georgia O'Keefe room was comfortable and beautiful. Loved it! It is obvious that Dan, the innkeeper, makes significant strides to help the guests feel welcome...

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit to the Turquoise Bear. We stayed in what was once the Carriage House which was very well decorated, private and most of all - comfortable. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING - did I say OUTSTANDING! Wow! And lastly, the staff was very friendly and focused on us having a wonderful stay - which we did....

Doug, thank you for the wonderful review! We enjoyed having you visit from down-state. We're very glad you enjoyed your gluten-free picnic baskets for your treks across Northern New Mexico!
