My wife and I have been coming to Dunshee's for nearly 30 years. It is always our first choice of where to stay while in Santa Fe. The in house suite is large and very comfortable and comes with the best breakfast you will ever have prepared and presented by your wonderful host. The Casita has all you need as...

Last week my husband, daughter and I spent seven days in Santa Fe house hunting. We knew the trip would be busy and stressful at times so we all agreed that a hotel would not provide the respite needed after our busy days. A search for two bedroom casitas in our preferred location-Canyon Road-led us to Susan Dunshee's B&B with...

This is the second time we have stayed at Dunshee's. It is a 5 minute walk to Canyon Road and to other wonderful spots in Santa Fe. Susan is a great host, greeting us each morning with new and wonderful breakfasts - small crepes, fresh fruits, homemade muffins and eggs with pesto were some of our breakfast treats. Beautiful gardens...

My husband and I stayed here for four days and loved it! The adobe home is quintessential Sante Fe- beautifully and comfortably furnished, including works by local artists (the owner being one of them). The location is perfect- close to Santa Fe's Museum Hill, not far from the art galleries and studios along Canyon Road, and less than a 10...

Thank you Susan for a wonderful experience. We loved our casita! The fireplace was wa and cozy. Our kitchen stocked with that yummy homemade granola! Want the recipe. Also we felt so welcome with the fresh muffins, yogurt, special apricot jam and fruit in our fridge. Comfortable beds, fantastic location within walking distance of art galleries and restaurants. I loved...

We spent two night at the B and B and I could not recommend it more highly. The room was spacious it was almost a whole house with a fireplace which actually worked. the wood was supplied. The bed was great and the breakfasts individually prepared were excellent. The location is within walking distance of Canyon road and it is...

Dunshee's is a lovely oasis located just two blocks from the Santa Fe Art District. We stayed in the 2 BR house and it was pure relaxation from start to finish. Susan foresaw and accommodated our every need, from wood to build crackling fires to supplying a variety of freshly prepared breakfast fruits, yogurt, juices, and pastries. The house was...

Out of sheer curiosity back in 1997 we travelled from California with our three children to explore the interwoven cultures of Santa Fe and its art life. We stayed three days at the Casita, also visiting Bandelier National Monument. Our children never forgot this trip. Fast forward 20 years, my husband and I needed a break from the overload of...

Nice old adobe style home in the old canyon road area. A bit of a challenge to find but worth it. So quiet and quaint. Felt like our own private getaway. Plenty of firewood and we enjoyed a kiva fire every night. Breakfast was very good and different each day. Bedroom & bathroom are dated but to be expected in...

We were very comfortable in the casita and thrilled that we could include our dog. Susan's breakfast was tasty, and I especially enjoyed the homemade cashew coconut granola. While we were gone during the day, she tidied up everything and left some minted melon for our return. She drew maps, made suggestions for places to eat and visit, and made...

“As a guest you can choose between a private casita or have a private bedroom and living space connected to the main house. We loved the room with the fireplace that looked out into the blossoms in the gardens.”

“If the weather is cool light a fire. This is a real wood fire place not a gas generated flame. The owner is worth the trip itself, a highly knowledgeable and talented lady. ”

“What we treasure about Dunshee's Casita is that the intimacy of the space allows ample room to move about (we were a family of five the first stay) or have quiet time to read/write/contemplate. The full bath has beautiful tiles and the artifacts Susan has collected add a warm, personal touch throughout.”
