I had a lovely stay. Hotel staff are quick and efficient and very helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the plaza, restaurants and museums and galleries. The bar and restaurants are good, if you don't feel like going out, staying in is quite pleasant. I think the only thing I had issue with is that it is valet parking only and sometimes waiting for your car during a peak time was tiresome. Also, valet doesn't open till 6 am so if you have an early flight out of Albuquerque, it can be an issue getting your car. Just plan ahead on that and you'll be fine. Overall a great place to stay though. I will definitely be back!!!
This hotel was quite lovely and clean. Upon arrival, we walked through the hotel lobby and restaurant and really enjoyed how modern and neatly arranged everything was. The room was quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was snowing. The best part of our stay was the customer service. The staff is friendly and on top of every detail. Louis, our valet, was especially helpful - we were in the middle of moving, so had a Uhaul truck with us which couldn't fit in the El Dorado lot. He was running back and forth between the valet station and the Starbucks next door to ensure we had a spot for the Uhaul, all while it was snowing. To top it all off, I forgot something in the car later that night and had to come down and request him to bring it back up - he did all of this with a smile on his face and was more than helpful. You guys hired top notch staff...keep up the good work!
The Eldorado hotel is a good hotel but overpriced. The rooms are good and quiet. The Spa is overbooked and you don't have a chance to get treatments when you are not at least there for a week. Treatments cost a fortune. The pool is a real joke. Bad maintained and very noisy because of all the ventilation or AC going out there. Seems everybody knew but us because we saw nobody going there or coming from there.
The staff, at least the guy we talked to both days, is really good and helpful.
This hotel offers not just first class accommodations but also the best customer service experience I have ever seen. We enjoyed every meal in the Aguave Restaurant with the best hamburger I have ever eaten prepared by Melvin Juarez who also personally visited our table and accepted our compliments, The location of the hotel is especially good for visiting museums and shopping and the convenience of the shuttle was very much appreciated. The Lead Concierge Dachelle Burrows was very helpful in teaching out information on artists and even suggested opportunities for my next visit to Santa Fe. I will definitely look to stay at this property in the future.
I recently stayed at the Eldorado Santa Fe during the JDRF ride to Cure weekend. The hotel is a beautiful property and the staff attention to details was remarkable, especially considering they had 300+ cyclists rolling bikes to and from their rooms. I had a room on the 4th floor which offered nice Mountain View’s. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
