This was such a lovely B&B with a very gracious host. The lodge is set in the mountains and has stunning views all around. Maureen cooked the most delicious breakfast for us each morning and made us feel right at home. She is very knowledgeable of the area and helped us get the most out of our short stay. Can't...

A one night stay on a whistle stop tour of California, really loved the location and the room, with a delightful hostess. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast, chatting with other travellers and Mauriene over an excellent tasty frittata to start the day. The setting is amazing and the house itself very individual, with hand-fashioned wooden furniture and a comfortable bed. A...

Love visiting 3 rivers. The weather was great and the Log House is right in the middle of the town. Very close to restaurants and also the lake. It's also very close to the mouth of the sequoia park. The log house is a quaint throwback to old western times. Complete with a few radios playing music from earlier in...

Mauriene is charming and jolly, and made us feel very, very welcome My sister and I shared the suite, which is quaint bedroom with an en suite, another enormous sitting room - cum bedroom (2 pull-down beds) - cum kitchen, plus another shower bathroom. The suite has its own balcony We would suggest that the suite doesn't present the best...

We spent one night at The Log House Lodge, on our way to visit the Sequoia National Park. The house is an old style wooden building, warm and typical; rooms are big, clean, tidy and comfortable. Mauriene is such a nice and friendly host, you would never leave that paradise! Lovely place, frendly atmosphere...

My wife and I stayed at the Rosebud room and were delighted to do so. Mauriene kindly welcomed us as if we were family; she poured herself into cooking for us an amazing and unique breakfast (and mostly all from scratch!) The room was clean, cool, and inviting; time seems to come to a very palpable halt as one enjoys...

We stayed two nights in the High Sierra Room. Very large and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, but pillow material was odd. Bathroom is large and private, but not ensuite which was no big deal. Maureen is a great hostess and made us feel very welcome. She is a great cook and the breakfasts were terrific. Mexican souffle one day with...

Stayed here for just the one night on our way ton Yosemite. Wish we could have stayed longer. Maureen & Tim are wonderful hosts and very welcoming and helpful with queries on things to do in the area. We loved sitting on the veranda and watching the humming birds feeding from the feeders. We stayed in the High Sierra room...

The room was charming and very comfortable. The lodge is located atop a hill and the views are wonderful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with a nice glass...
