The Lodge was clean and comfortable and included breakfast for a good price. Family friendly. Pool. Basketball for one on one or two on two. Good morning walk along a small river. But not a five star place. Few workers speak English--but we had everything we needed. Less than five miles up the road is a less used entrance to...

I checked in with my family for a night before taking off to see the Sequoia National Park. Although I will agree that the location was good and the room size worked for the price tag; the remainder of my experience was poor. Upon arrival I needed to complete a cycle of laundry. The laundry room had one washer and...

The entrance to the national park is only a 10 minute drive away. Rooms are very basic but very affordable (USD$110 including tax for a triple). Rooms were clean and had hot water for showers. Breakfast was very basic, waffles, toast, etc. If you are looking for a cheap clean room this is the place to stay.

Originally booked the River Inn to get closer to the park entrance but as we arrived late evening we had to pick our key at this hotel and ended up staying here (they offered to match the rate). Our 1 night stay was fine. Room was spacious, not dirty though not spotless either (stained dated carpet), well equipped with TV,...

No glasses even on request, just paper cups. I understand this is America, but no single glass in the entire hotel?! Seems bit too much. No smile from the staff - Hindu family which runs the hotel. Wi fi works in the reception only. Breakfast is poor, just pancakes are good. Location is good for exploring Sequoia national park. Didnt't...

Pulled into the hotel and saw that the pool was green and the spa was broken. The staff and owners are unfriendly and could care if you stayed here or not!! They are sucking the place dry!! I paid for a room with a view, don't bother. Even the Motel 6 has standards! The breakfast is a joke, try the...

The property is good with a park for the kids and swimming pool. The room was decent with 2 queen beds. I liked the small sink in the room. BUT the carpet was very dirty. Also the TV did not have any cartoon channel for the kids. There were many tiny insects on the floor (I don't know the names)....

During our travel, we stayed one night in this hotel and we weren't satisfied of our stay. It's old and we found some ants in the bathroom sink. We asked to change our room and they accepted. Unfortunately, we kept some food in our room after the dinner and the next morning, we found a new time many ants... The...

The price was reasonable at $76 for a single queen room with microwave and fridge. The girl checking us in had no idea what she was doing so the manager/owner came out and did it for her. The door to our room was wide open when we found it and some guy was painting the railing outside right there but...

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel in the middle of the Squoias this is not it. It is however a very budget friendly accommodation very close to the park and a great place to set up a base when going hiking in the national park. The room was large and was clean, a bit out dated and...
