Paid over $100 dollars for a one night stay. Place is very old, mold in shower, HORRIBLE beds and a toilet seat without a lid that shuts is nasty. Smelled musty, too. It was a last minute stay as we didn't have reservations, so we took what we could get. Towels were so rough I could use them as sand...

Closest to the area's major tourist attraction, the Luray Caverns Motel East is a stylish place to stay... in 1968. However, it is clean, neat, and boasts some spectacular views out the balcony window. The staff are friendly and we were checked in efficiently. The room was nice and it was clean and bug-free. Decor was dated, but I liked...

Clean and peaceful. There was a beautiful view from the porch next to our room. Stayed for a one day trip to Laray Caverns. They offered us a 20% off coupon to the Stalactite Cafe at Laray Caverns which was nice. It is also a 3 minute drive to the caverns which saved us time.

When we arrived we found the room had a terribly musty smell and there were very few amenities in the room. No, microwave, no fridge, no clock, no desk, only two chairs with small table. The few lamps make the lighting dim and unpleasant. Linens appeared to be clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the location is...

We stayed in apt 4d above the office just this past Saturday. When we were home we found bed bugs coming from the pillow we brought inside. Thankfully, we only stayed one night and only brought in a few things. Now we have to exterminate and clean everything including the car. The hotel is old and not cleaned very well....

Having read previous reviews we arrived with one or two doubts but left happy! People had said it was dirty...NO....bed linen spotless, floors clean, bathroom clean, towels clean, surfaces clean. People said their were bugs...NO. People complained about lack of services....RUBBISH. There was a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, sockets, lights, Windows, doors, balcony (with view). The bed was comfy, it...

My family stopped here for a night on our way home and it was just what we needed after being on the road all day! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The check-in was fast and the counter lady was friendly and courteous! We pulled into our parking spot and saw deer on the grounds on the other side of...

Old outdated rooms with uncomfortable beds. The only positive aspect of the entire visit was the location. Great location if you are visiting the Luray Caverns. I normally do not post poor ratings, but other than the close proximity to the small town of Luray and the caverns there is not much else to say in a positive light. We...

Dark drab outside. Rooms are no better. Very creepy in the dark. Bus crawling on walls and under covers on beds. Hot and smelly room and for the three hours wet lasted there, the air conditioner did not cool the room au all. Go down the hill to Best Western. Clean and bug free.

For low budget motel expectations, they were met. Rate was OK. My room had two relatively clean double beds. Sheets were stained. Pillow cases were different shades of white. The TV was a Zenith from the 1990s but worked well. The air conditioner/heater was a window unit. Bathroom was small. Carpet was new. Strangely, when I checked in, the staff...
