The Mimslyn Inn is in a beautiful old building, and the room we stayed in was attractive and huge. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the key cards the front desk gave us don't actually lock or unlock the electronic room door. So the room was unsafe and unlocked each time we left it, until we...

This inn was perfect for a girls get-away weekend. I have never had such amazing service anywhere from any staff. Mthe brunch was just scrumptious and the rooms were comfortable. We loved that it was quiet and peaceful. I loved the fireplaces everywhere and the soft music in the lobby. They even started us a log burning fire outside by...

We have just returned from a very relaxing weekend in Luray, VA and most definitely enjoyed our stay at the Mimslyn Inn . I wanted to take my grandsons to see Luray Caverns and do a little poking around on the Skyline Drive… a hike up to Stony Man. It seems these days too many people don’t understand the difference between a hotel and a motel… The Mimslyn Inn is a hotel... I wanted to stay in a hotel. I also wanted a...

Loved this Inn that is nestled up the side of a little hill! The buffet breakfast and lunch was great! You need to check though, apparently they do not always have the buffets, depending on the amount of people staying there. The room was small but comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

We collected a brochure for the Mimslyn Inn at the Luray Caverns, and were very thankful when they were able to accommodate us. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly, and were able to give us a great rate on 2 "historic" rooms! Yes the rooms are quite small, but are decorated with a wonderful period style that suits the...

My husband purchased a package deal during the fall which included a one night stay at the Mimslyn Inn, 2 tickets to Luray Caverns & a pair of wine glasses. We stayed at the Mimslyn Inn on a trip up I-81, which we do frequently. My wife and I have started staying at Historic Hotels just to add some interesting experiences to our travels. The Mimslyn Inn is a very nice property ust on the outskirts of Luray, Virginia, close to the Luray caverns. The staff is extremely nice, and...

I used a deal for a package of a night at the hotel and tickets for the Luray Cavern. When I called to make my reservation, the lady was very accommodating. We arrived around 4 p.m., and snagged one of the last parking spots on a Saturday night. The check-in receptionist was very helpful and friendly, as was the doorman....
