This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast and it will be difficult to top. Hank and Wiley made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the freshly baked cookies, apple cake, and other treats. Breakfast exceeded out expectations. We stayed in the Rosebud Cottage for two nights, so we enjoyed two delicious breakfasts delivered...

The reviewer: 40yo male surgeon from Rockville, MD. Married, no children. My wife chose Piney Hill for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary after noting that 200+ reviews were uniformly and overwhelmingly positive. She spoke with Hank and Wiley, the proprietors, to arrange a last-minute reservation. They were extremely helpful. It is somewhat difficult especially at night to find...

We choose Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. This was our first visit to a Bed and Breakfast and we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the decor, yummy food, hospitality and refreshing aromas of a fresh apple cake baking. The attention to detail was unbelievable and amazing!! We even had...

We visited Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast during our honeymoon get-away through the Shenandoah Valley. I finally married the man; my best friend, that I have loved from the moment I met him. It was such fun shopping in the Piney Hill Gift Shop for things to decorate our new Master bedroom and hot tub suite. The great photos C.T....

This was my first stay at Pine Hill after having heard about it many times from friends. It absolutely exceeded my expectations in every way. Hank and Wiley are superb hosts, the breakfasts are heavenly, the decor is wonderful, the views are divine. I heartily recommend it.

We were looking for accommodation near the Shenandoahs and were fortunate enough to have Piney Hill B&B be at the top of our search. It looked perfect, and Hank was very friendly upon a phone enquiry, and thought why waste time looking for anything else. We were most warmly welcomed even if just staying for a night. Staying at Piney...

This place is wonderful. The reviews seem too good to be true -- but they are for real. My wife and I stayed in the Rosebud cottage and it was fantastic. The breakfast was brought to our door. You cannot ask for a better place to stay. I am counting the days till we go back. M and M Washington,...

We stay here once or twice a year and it keeps getting better and better. Wiley and Hank continue to upgrade the appointments and offerings without ever loosing the comfortable and casual atmosphere that makes it a place to go back to and back again. However, book early -- many more people are discovering this great bargain.

My wife and I stayed here for our 1st anniversary trip while we were still dating. Thought it would be a great idea to return after we got married as a mini-honeymoon. We locked ourselves up in the cottage and just relax. The peace of it all and the hospitality of Hank and Wiley gave us a great break from...

I had never been to a b&b before and was a teeny bit hesitant since my boyfriend and I are young (20’s) and unmarried, but the experience at Piney Hill was amazing. I will definitely try to go back! The innkeepers (Hank and Wiley) are friendly, kind, knowledgeable about restaurants/sites/wineries/shopping in the area, and do everything to guarantee a wonderful...
