If you're looking for a place to unplug and unwind, Brookside Cabins is a great choice! We stayed in cabin #3 which featured a sun porch overlooking the brook, a beautiful fireplace, and a hot tub. The cabin also had a coffeepot, microwave, and refrigerator. Plus, we got a nice assortment of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and toiletries (including toothbrushes.)... More

If you're looking for the Waldorf Astoria--forget it. This was our second stay here and we chose it because it's a little rustic but still very clean on the inside with updated interiors such as carpet, new painted walls and new baths, at least in the cabin we stayed in. They have heat and air conditioning and of course the... More

It sits right on busy 4 lane hwy 211 -right on the road. Outside appearance is run down and shabby. Did not go inside as other reviews confirmed my suspicions of the inside. Price is 190.00 per night.! This is totally overpriced considering prices of other nicer lodging, G 6The igby price is -9" p

cabin nine the rooms were nice and clean. I the only issue I had was that was one of the shower doors did not slide open and the second thing was that the air's conditioner started making a screeching noise in the middle of the night on our last night we had to turn it off it was so bad.... More

Rented cabin #1. Very clean and inviting. Awesome hot tub in room. Perfect for a couple. Nothing like candlelight and a nice bottle of vino while sitting in the hottub.only issue is shower head would not stay in upright position so it was headed towards drain. Would stay there again.restaurant was good. Nice to have restaurant on premises.

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin for just one night. It was perfect. It was clean and neat. I loved sitting out back on the porch and listening to the brook as it rippled by. It was quiet and peaceful. The restaurant was very nice, with good food and friendly servers. The scenery is beautiful on the way there.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday weekend. It was fantastic! The staff at Brookside are very accommodating and went above and beyond. I called the day before to see if I could have flowers delivered to the room and be there before we arrived. They went ahead arranged everything for a small fee. Not only did they get... More

Great place to relax after enjoying the local area or the park. Have breakfast at the restaurant, and enjoy your cabin deck in the evening. We stayed in cabin #8 that has 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a bonus extra room overlooking the brook. Would stay here again if in the area.

I return to the Luray Valley, nestled between the Blue Ridge and the Massanutten mountains, an enclave of the Shenandoah Valley frequently. So much to do there in the outdoors. Main city is Luray. One place I return to is the Brookside Cabins. About halfway up the Blue Ridge. Rustic but well appointed cabins of various sizes scattered along a... More

“there is no TV or phone and cell reception maybe sketchy for alot of plans but the wifi was excellent. The owners were so wonderful as they gave us an after hours emergency line that we could give our kids if they needed us. That was a huge relief knowing we could be "found!"”
