We stayed at the Radisson Lackawana Station hotel in Scranton PA.The hotel was nice.. clean.. and for the most part the staff were friendly. We had a long drive and had gone to bed. Unfortunately our neighbours were involved in a loud activity so we ended up having to change rooms. It was great that our needs were accommodated and...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 24 November 2016

This lovely hotel was originally a bustling train station in Scranton, built in the early 20th century. It has been lovingly restored. The stained glass ceilings in the lobby atrium are beautiful, as are the detailed mile 'paintings'. The staff was very friendly courteous, helpful. The price was quite reasonable. It is easy to reach, just off Route 81 in...

Thank you so much for taking the time to stay with us and to write of your pleasant experience. Our staff takes great pride in discussing the history of the station and of some special elements throughout this wonderful structure, opened by President Truesdale in 1908. The tile mural paintings in the Lobby were designed by Clark G. Vorhees depicting...

Well there's not really much to say about this place other than it has some historical ties. Rooms are a bit small, no microwave or other appliances. Fridge was ok. Bathroom was extremely small and the overall decor is outdated

This was the third time I stayed at the Lackawanna Hotel in Scranton. It had been over 3 years and they have really updated the rooms here. This is a very old historic hotel that is in very fine shape. Marble on the walls in the dining and lobby area. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys historic and...

Never again. Calling Amex to cancel payment. No manager on duty throughout weekend to address our issue and no compensation for our inconvenience. Said to say no one had any authority to address the issue at hand which they knew full we'll existed

The hotel is in an 1908, very elaborate, French-Renaissance style train station. I like the idea of historic structures being restored and/or converted to modern day use while maintaining the atmosphere of the original building.

Clean. Staff was awesome. Beautifully restored building. The only issue was our bed seemed hard to me. But not a big deal. Adam was great in getting me into a room early. The doorman was pleasant and a great conversationalist. Completely different stay from my first stay there.

My son and I stayed at this hotel because we were visiting the University of Scranton on accepted students' day. It is the converted Lackawanna Train Station. They kept the stained glass and metal and showcased it beautifully. Each floor has a train station bench by the elevator which is a nice touch. The rooms are the biggest I've seen...
