The staff was very helpful, the rate was good, the room was about 5 steps from my car, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and dominoes delivers. Get up early for breakfast because it goes fast. All in all a perfect choice for what I needed.
The rooms were clean. Shower water pressure was strong and hot. Staff was very nice. Unfortunately, the noise from the freeway was pretty pervasive all night. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you.
Travelodge University West in Flagstaff We enjoyed our stay at the Travelodge. It was an older motel but well maintained. It was like motels used to be when I was a kid, a courtyard with two long buildings lined with rooms. Our room had a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The bathtub felt sold and wasn’t thin and wobbly like many new ones. They still use blankets and bedspreads, which I prefer over duvets. Breakfast was good. They had a pancake making machine, something I’ve never seen before. They also had cereal, fruit, muffins, toast and juice.
Stayed here for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s about a mile from downtown Flagstaff. The room was big, we had a mini fridge and a microwave, vanity and seating area. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and all the staff seemed very nice. If I have said it once, I have said it twice. You can’t except 5 star resorts when you book at a Travelodge but it’s a great place. It was quiet and generally comfortable. The shower water was hot! They have a little breakfast in their lobby, it’s small but it’s a nice gesture.
This traditional motel was a decent bargain right near campus. We arrived on a snowy cold night and had to turn the heater on once we arrived. Would be nice to have had the room warmed up ahead of time, but for the value price, really can't complain.
