We enjoyed our short stay here for the Holiday. Victor at the Front Desk was a warm welcome when it was 18 degrees outside. The room was clean and well appointed. Very good use of the space, see photos attached of room 215. Staff wore masks and observed Social Distancing guidelines. Sanitizer wipes were available in the guest room but was already super clean.

Some guest will complain about paying $9 for parking but if you’re trying to save a buck you should stay at one of the cheaper hotels in town anyways.

This hotel is one of the few that allow dogs and the $100 fee might put some off but it’s fair in my book.

The delicious breakfast “buffet” was well laid out and protocols were in place for health and safety. Guests are expected to put on the provided plastic gloves to enter and serve themselves while wearing a mask.

Just like anything else, protocols are only as good as the people who follow them.

Fortunately, most people actually read the signs and followed the guidelines. For those that don’t, there were plenty of guests around to point them out to staff who were very polite in their reminders and enforcement.

We enjoyed our time overall and will definitely be. Ack for a longer stay next time.

We drove up from Phoenix to stay at this hotel for several days to get away from the 4 walls we've been surrounded by for months due to COVID.

The hotel is easy to find, centrally located (literally a block or two from restaurants and shopping). Parking was adequate and we never had a problem finding a place to park, even at odd hours.

The room we chose was a suite, so I'm not sure what the other rooms look like. However, our room had a spacious bedroom, bathroom, and living area with a full kitchen, stocked with plates, bowls, glassware, and cookware. Since we were trying to stay safe, we would pick up food curbside at local restaurants and eat in our hotel room. It worked out perfectly.

The staff greeted us warmly whenever we came into the lobby, which was awesome. Although they were all friendly and hospitable, I do need to point out a particular front desk employee, Jon Sealy. He was stocking the lobby market late in the evening while I was picking out a snack. We chatted and when he heard we were visiting the South Rim the next day, he gave me some excellent advice about what website to look at for traffic conditions and weather. Considering it snowed late that night, viewing that website the next morning saved us from a very long trip on slippery roads only to see nothing but clouds. We instead went elsewhere and had a blast. Kudos to him for helping us avoid a costly mistake. We owe him big time!

Had a great time there and wouldn't hesitate to visit them again.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed the location and size/functionality of the rooms. Having 2 queen beds, a pull out sofa, desk and kitchen allowed us to fit our family of 5 (not a lot of extra space, but manageable). Being across the street from Dark Sky Brewing (serving Pizzacleta pizza) was really convenient. We could order the pizza online, go down and get a Crowler from the brewery, pick up the pizza all with ease. And if it we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic we would have stayed at the brewery and ate/drank there. An easy walk to several coffee shops and other restaurants downtown too.

My husband and I were in town to visit some of Arizona's best breweries (Dark Sky, Wanderlust, Historic and Mother Road) in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary last weekend. We booked a room with a king bed through a third party App and was given a room with two doubles at check-in. I joked that we haven't slept in anything smaller than a king bed for years, but still preferred to share the same bed. :-) While they were not able to accommodate our original request, the front desk staff was very apologetic and actually gave us a upgraded room along with a very generous discount. Thank you!!!

We would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for visiting downtown restaurants, breweries and shops on foot while leaving your car in their private lot. The rooms are well appointed and the beds were very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you to the Residence Inn Flagstaff team for taking such good care of us!! We will be back!

First hotel is clean, service is friendly and location is excellent to downtown. There are two negatives that contribute to the poor rating, first the breakfast offering is so twiddled down it is non existent. Two options for dry cereal, plain bagel, OJ, not very accommodating, other Residence Inns do a much better job. The management needs to re-evaluate how to assure that they are following good sanitation practices, as example the bell carts are self service, yet there is no hand sanitizing or sanitation wipes available for guest to wipe down the carts after use.

Thank you, twobroc, for taking the time to submit a review regarding your recent stay. I am happy you found the hotel to be clean and friendly and I hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you again on your next visit to Flagstaff. During this difficult time we are doing our best to not allow it to affect our guest's experience with the limited resources that we have while following Marriott's directives. As more resources become available we will make them available for our guests. Misty

If any hotel needs a lesson on how to implement Covid protocols, this is the place to deliver that lesson. It’s spotless with constant cleaning of all high touch surfaces in public areas. Clearly, they have a plan and it’s obvious how well executed it is.

Excellent choice for a quick stop in Flagstaff. It’s a busy property and there’s plenty of staff to ensure impeccable service standards.

Rooms are nicely sized, kitchen has everything you need, generous bathroom, etc. All you would expect at a Residence Inn.

This property offered breakfast, which was nice since so many properties have suspended brekkie. The area was fully staffed, people adhered to social distancing and the food was set up to ensure it was safely available to anyone who wanted to fuel up for a big day.

Location is ideal. Right in the heart of downtown with the historic district in walking distance. There’s a small park across the street to walk your dog -- pets are accepted here and we were happy to have our pup with us.

Parking is available. Only 20 or so spaces are directly adjacent to the hotel. All other parking is across the street which could be challenging on snowy days.

This is one of the best Residence Inns I’ve stayed at – kudos to the team who run it so well.

This was our first stay at this hotel, and we loved it; it is right in the heart of ‘Old Town’. Check-in was a breeze. There are two parking lots and parking is a little tight (also a $9 per day extra charge). The standard hotel internet is free and does an excellent job, although we did not stream movies so I really can not comment on the speed for that.

We had a corner room (#200) with nice views of the town. The king bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. It has a small kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, drip coffee maker and even a dish washer. The room also has a nice sized work desk that is well layed out. There is a large TV and comfortable couch. The bathroom is large with a nice layout, but is not for wheelchairs. One negative note is that the toilet is very low, so if you have mobility issues you will want to keep that in mind, The shower is large and very well lit.

We stopped in RI Flagstaff for 2 nights. It's an older hotel but centrally located. It provided everything you would expect from a RI, which is great. Furthermore, it offered a hot meal buffet style (which many RI's are still not doing yet) for breakfast. Being centrally located downtown, there are quite a few restaurants to choose from as well.

Travel Pup Corner: I loved this place with the park directly across the street and a short hiking path to a fish-filled pond that locals apparently frequent. Lots of places to pee and poop and run around. Please pick up after your furball and keep them on a leash because not all of us are friendly.

We stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t have been happier. Two dedicated parking lots, large standard room, and they are even doing a full socially-distanced. Real fast buffet! No grab n go bag here!

Bathroom towels are fluffy, large shower-only with a separate vanity with mirror and drawers. Decent kitchen with the basics in place.

Weekend shuttle to ski area if you need it. Easy walking around downtown! If you want a quieter room in winter, ask for one that does not face Humphreys. The plows ran during the recent storm all night long!

I don't really want to write this review. It means I will be competing with more people to find a room here! This hotel is what every downtown needs: a modern, quality hotel in a fantastic location. These type of hotels are suite only, so you get a kitchen area! This is great if you have children. This hotel doesn't have two bedroom suites so if you're a Marriott outer space status holder don't expect the moon for upgrades. All of the rooms are about the same, minus some corner locations. Only downsides?? This hotel allows pets, so if you're allergic to dogs - maybe suggest a higher floor. I believe they try to keep pets on the lower floors. The other downside is Flagstaff hotels in general have a higher number of I-40 traffic guests.

Same as above pretty much. Seemed in general to be safe, but who knows. I think there is a double row in middle of the lot that would likely fit both.
