We wanted a seedy motel so we stopped here. The place was actually not seedy- very clean! White sheets and all! The three of us stayed in their double room and it was massive. Two comfy king beds- room for everyone to starfish! Check in was lovely- The gentleman (owner? Manager? We're not sure) was very friendly and helpful. We...

This motel, typical of the late 1930-1950s was the site of the gentleman/owner Philip Johnston who helped create the World War 2 Navajo Code Talkers. While on a cross country Motorcycle trip we ran into rain around Flagstaff Az. When we ask ,at a gas station, where the affordable motels were we were told about the rt 66 area.
