I generally never give reviews of hotels unless they have certain key points that stand out to me. Being a former director of one of the largest hospitality brands in the world you could say I have seen almost everything in my 20 year career. First of all don't believe everything you read online (no its not always true, sorry). Bad reviews generally do two things 1. hurt the subject property and 2. benefit surrounding properties. Sure there are honest reviews but sadly there are dishonest reviews to torpedo the subject location driving business to a potentially less desirable location than the torpedoed property.
I can say this I have stayed at this location numerous times over the last 18 months. They must have switched management because it shows across the board from hospitality, cleanliness and customer service overall. Site level management is always accommodating in every way. Never have i been told NO. They always say something in line with they are going to look into it or let me see what i can do. That simple gesture makes me feel like I am important and that my request is not idiotic. Unlike most other hotels (you know who you are lol)
They have been slowly updating this location for several months. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Never once did I smell chlorine as a matter of fact i don't ever recall smelling chlorine. Disinfectant yes chlorine nope. Housekeeping spends a decent amount of time with each room comparable to the big name brands. Why, because they care about your safety and your opinion of their location.
I've stayed at the big brand hotels because it was my job. I enjoy seeing some of the budget hotels because they don't have a huge budget to work with. So, I am impressed with the progression down the timeline. Never seen a step backwards only forward.
Keep it up Quality Inn Flagstaff Team! I look forward to coming back soon!

It has a roof, bed, and shower—those are the good things. Holes in the carpet, holes in the wall, two burnt out lightbulbs, a functional but in shambles air conditioner, a full body mirror that was oddly placed behind a dresser, and a well advertised breakfast that didn’t exist at all (please update your website and Google listing if your amenities have changed). We normally avoid chain hotels/motels and this reaffirmed why we do. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Booked a king bed room, the room was so small you bumped into the bed one step into the room. Pull out the desk chair and there was no room to walk through. Bathroom was also tiny. This is a budget hotel at mid-rang price.
No breakfast, Covid being the excuse, but most other Quality Inns can provide grab-and-go packs, or simple continental snacks.
We have stayed in many Quality Inns, and normally rate them highly enough to continue with their chain, you can check my reviews. But not this one. This is the Poor Quality Inn.

We regularly stay at this location in Flagstaff. Flagstaff has grown enormously in the past decade and this area is now surrounded by stores, buildings, a shopping center, etc. The building has encroached on the hotel a bit so it feels "stuck" in on a hillside with a difficult siting. But the hotel is clean, dated but comfortable, rooms are fine, and the service is great. There is a lovely large dining area with an enormous fireplace and plenty of space to meet or just relax. Breakfast is buffet and is very good and well maintained by servers who watch the food supply so you are never out of eggs or juice. I would expect that this will be on Quality Inn's list for updating soon.

This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever been in!
I originally booked for 4 nights, but barely made through one. Upon entering the smell of smoke and mildew was overwhelming. We purchased an air freshener and Lysol disinfectant at Walmart. There was mold in the air conditioner and bathroom. The blanket was grossly stained. The bathroom faucet was loose and the air vent cover did not fit. The staircase outside was in poor repair. I would definitely not walk on it. I left early in the morning and after showing the manager some pictures I took he grudgingly refunded my other three nights. Can’t even imagine what breakfast might have been. NEVER stay here

So, I’am a travel healthcare professional and I want to give a warning to all my fellow healthcare workers that this is NOT the place for you, unless you’re use to project low-income type of living.

1. I work 12 hour shifts at the hospital, and when i get to my room I put the green do not disturb sign on the door so they dont start knocking about house keeping. After 12 hrs, I strive to sleep for 8 hours but these people walk around and take the sign off the door and slide it under your door. Last weekend I complained about it and the guy at the front desk told me he told them to take it off and that he will talk to them about that. They did it again the following day. So, this weekend i decided to book with this place and the idiots did it again, they took the sign off the door and the lady comes beating on the door waking me up about housekeeping. I opened the door and I was pissed off! I told her if you all stop taking the damn signs off the door, you would know to leave me alone!!! I called the front desk and told them about that and as always, he said; “I will talk to them about that”. Dude! Thats the same thing you told me last weekend and the problem still exist.

2. 90% of this place is vacant, I walk past rooms and nobody is in it and im a returning customer for a second weekend here and you would think they would give me a break and want to do right by me so i can keep coming back. I booked for 3 nights and arrived so late that they canceled my booking and the manager refunded me for two nights instead of all 3, his reason being because my no-show, he could of rented that room to someone else. Dude! You’re 90% vacant, there is no one else!

3. If you look at the attached pics, They have black mold growing in several places of the shower. The paint you see in the other pics is not a design or pattern, thats literally paint chipping off and pealing all over the walls of the room. Lastly, my frig doesn't work at all. One star hotel!!!

Sincerely,
Marcus C.

BEDBUGS!!!!!!!!

Don't go to this hotel! We woke up with bed bugs in our bed and on our pillow. We are shocked by the idea that these animals have been near our heads all night. After the discovery we walked straight to the reception. Here we were given a spray to kill the animals. Apparently this hotel often suffers from bed bugs? In addition, we were given (only) 10 dollars to wash two suitcases of 40 kilos of clothes. We were not heard at all! What a bad service!

Outside on the grounds of the hotel there were all kinds of old beds. They had to purchase new beds because of the bedbug problem, we were told. Apparently it's still not resolved, because they're still there!

Do not go to this hotel, you will not be understood or helped at all. They don't care!!!!

Boyfriend and I stayed here 1 night May 2nd 2022. You can tell it’s an older hotel but they have done a lot of renovations that make a huge difference. One big thing i noticed was the AC unit didn’t have that weird smell like most other hotels do. Water got very hot very fast. Everything was very clean, honestly one of the cleanest hotel rooms ive stayed in, & i travel quite a bit.
Very Friendly and helpful staff and location is ideal! If you’re looking for a affordable and comfy place to stay short term, this comfort inn is a pretty good choice.

First time at this location. Check in staff was efficient, got us our key cards in lightning fast time. Took a bit to find our rooms but once we did, we could park close and get settled after a long drive from coastal California. The rooms were small, yes, but we needed someplace to sleep, not to spread out and lounge. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The furnishings were adequate and mostly in good shape. There was a microwave and fridge and big screen teevee. In room coffee was very nice in the morning! The place was quiet overnight. The grab and go breakfast bags were simple but provided needed energy for the remaining segments of our trip, and there was coffee and juice and yogurt and such to supplement the bagged snacks. All in all a fine place to lay your head after a long drive. Recommended.

This is one of the worst quality inn stays ever. We use our choice hotel app all the time and take roads trips every other month so we stay at a lot of the hotels.
It is run down.
Our non smoking room smelled like smoke.
There were clumps of dog hair in the room, I guess the vacuum does not work there.
The towels are old and thin, they don't dry you of at all.
The sheets and towels had stains on them, visual stains, why would you use them.
The shower had a mind of its own, it could not make up is mind on whether it was scalding hot or cold. Constant pulse of hot and cold water. The shower had mold and the white enamel is chipped away.
This hotel needs a major clean up and run through room check on mechanics.
