I thought the room was fairly clean, then I pulled out the nightstand to look for a plug in and YUCK! Disgusting behind the nightstand. And no plug ins near the bed at all. The grounds are filthy, trash and dog poop all over the ground. It wasn’t bad enough to leave after check in, but I won’t be back.
We had to make an emergency stop when passing through Arizona because a snow storm and Motel 6 was the only place left that accepted dogs. Although I'm glad we had somewhere to stay, we were charged $240 for one night after the fees. We were in the middle of a cross-country move and even though we stayed at five hotels and all others were MUCH nicer (3 and 4-star) hotels, this Motel 6 was by far the most expensive stay. It is ridiculous that a Motel 6 was roughly twice the price of better hotels. The hotel itself was exactly what you expect from a Motel 6 -- loud, dirty, uncomfortable, and sporting a bathroom worse than most campsites and rest stops I've visited. That's about what I anticipated, but Motel 6 should be ashamed for taking advantage of people during bad weather.
I called to confirm my reservation and that they would please reserve a ground floor room since I'm traveling with my fur babies. Cynthia was extremely polite and did so as we finished the call. On my arrival... This place is SUPER sketchy!! I didn't feel very safe but it was a one night stay as I'm traveling back from South Dakota to my home in California... On my arrival Madison at the front desk was welcoming, friendly and definitely professional so I GREATLY appreciated this from her. She provided me with a room that would suit my needs for me and my fur babies. As I unloaded everything into the first room I proceeded to begin to relax when I noticed the bed was filled with yellow stains and some hair. I called the front desk and Madison answered politely again... I asked her if she could switch rooms for me to a cleaner room as my bed was filthy.she quickly apologized and attempted to accommodate me with a room right next door so I wouldn't have to struggle so much moving from room to room. Before switching I wanted to be sure the room was clean.... Clean enough to sleep in... I quickly came to realize that that bed was even worse! It had some sort of black markings on the sheets, along with human hair and even more yellow stains!!! Appalled by what she saw she immediately offered an upgraded room and walked me over to examine it. This bed had no stains but I did find some human hair and what looked like a grain of rice. At this point I had no other option but to accept this one as this was the cleaner of the 3. I should have taken pictures of each room but I was just ready to get some rest after almost 12 hours of driving. While in this current time I managed to take these images of the bed and the shower. I'm extremely disappointed in this franchise and this Establishment period!!! DISGUSTING!!! They have great staff at the front desk but as far as they're cleanliness especially during Covid times.... it is unacceptable!!! …
My brother and I stayed here for one night during our visit to Flagstaff. Cynthia checked us in. She was super nice and professional! The beds in the room were comfortable. Everything had been thoroughly cleaned. I liked the design of the shower stall. Walmart is just across the street, which came in handy to pick up some supplies. Kudos, Cynthia & Motel 6!
Came to Flagstaff for the Power in the Pines strongman compition and decided to make a short vacation to get out of the heat. Stayed four days. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was very small though. Actually had decent cable. Looked like the rooms were recently remodeled. Hotel was close to just about everything. Strange thing is no microwave and no fridge. Also advertised that there are BBQ pits that we were planning on using. They don't have any BBQ areas. The exterior definitely needs some work as it looks run down. Advertised as pet friendly but there are no pet signs everywhere and no bag stations. The pool was actually pretty nice but seems to get taken over by large groups of inebriated native Americans that made it unusable at times. Altogether it was ok for the price but didn't think I would stay there again because of the lack of microwave and fridge plus the issues with some of the clientele. …
