This place had everything...Oodles of charm and a fantastic host. My husband was in love with this place and really wanted to stay longer. Our breakfast in the morning had way to much food but lots of yummy choices. I kidded the hostess that I'd give her 99 out of 100 for a rating...I told her that the lack of...

I stayed here while traveling around the south-west US with my parents and my child, and it was wonderful. Holidaying with both an 83-yr-old and a 3-yr-old has its challenges but Whispering Pines was an oasis! Homely is the word, with a log fire that we could light in the evenings, tea, coffee and snacks whenever we wanted, a huge...

When you are tired and on the road looking for a comfortable and Homey place Laura is the answer. The commendations were excellent, beginning with a comfy bed, a fabulous breakfast, and we brought in food to eat for dinner and the outside patio where Laura had us a bottle of wine waiting for us. We weren't sure what to...

The first thing we noticed when arriving was how beautify maintained the property was, little venues of interests leading to the entrance. Greeting us as we walked in the front door was a hand written welcome message on a beautifully unique chalk board/ message board, made us smile! The spacious room was absolutely filled with hand crafted one of a...

My family stayed here for 3 nights to explore the Sedona/Flagstaff/Grand Canyon area last week. Everything was perfect. The pictures do not do this place justice!!! We all agreed that we would love to have a house just like it. Very close to downtown and food places yet still far enough off the highway that you don't hear road noise...in...

Kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything we needed. Great location, centrally located with access to some great sightseeing and hikes: Grand Canyon,...

“Laura only takes in one party at a time -- or perhaps 2 related parties of friends/relatives. Guests stay in the upstairs "cabin room." Its bathroom could be shared with an adjoining loft/bedroom, which you can rent for an additional $60 for your kids, in-laws or friends who may be traveling with you.”
