This motel seems to be a relocation of the Econo lodge imploded on Milton. I thought it to be a decent budget motel. It's located on old Route 66 giving you good access to the freeway as well as direction toward the Canyon and Navajo country. But note, you'll also be across the way from the railroad tracks and if you're a light sleeper or just can't deal with the grinding noise, trains do run 24/7. My room was well lit, and had hardwood floors. the window was sealed, so if you need ventilation, you'll have to use the air conditioner. There was no heat source in my shower area and, though, the room had a clock, there was no radio. There is an outdoor pool but it's located in the parking. Probably need to wait for warmer days and less Covid to use it. Reception offers a grab and go breakfast with a do-it-yourself coffee and juice bar. but when I tried to pour the coffee in the late afternoon, the water was tepid and the receptionist was hesitant to warm it up with a new pot. Nearby the motel you'll find a supermarket, Mexican restaurant, and Starbucks.…
The stay was great. Breakfast grab and go was not worth going after. Was kind of weird getting to choose between a bottle of water and a bag of chips or points for staying there. Just never run across that before.
Had to modify our trip due to weather and the staff was very helpful. Really appreciated that. Also appreciated the breakfast go bags. Rooms are small but for our needs was just fine. The railroad tracks parallel Rte 66 and there was a fair bit of rail traffic. But you'll hear that if you stay at any hotels on the street.
great rooms and amazing service! Only missing the breakfast not in bags. People were friendly, quiet and good heater for all the snow. At first the yellow lighting of the hotel made me weary of it but it really fits. I'm glad I booked beforehand cause I might not of gone their cause of it but it was great. Glad I stayed there
Very nice and clean rooms. I would definitely stay here again. Staff is friendly and hotel is close to down town. Very reasonable price. I would recommend for families. I don't think there is a pool but it's too cold for that anyways.
