We stayed here for one night while in Flagstaff. The room was not very clean, had no microwave and the bathroom was not much bigger than the closet. The small bathroom I can deal with but I do expect a clean room. If you want to use a microwave you have to go down to the lobby. What hotel that is part of a major hotel chain like Choice Hotels does not have a microwave in the hotel room. The Quality Inn next door has clean rooms with a microwave for less money. At checkout I politely spoke with the owner of the hotel regarding these issues at which point he became very rude and belligerent. He then told me that he did not want me in his hotel. I have stayed in Flagstaff many times over the years at different hotels without any issues with rude staff let alone a rude owner. There are many nice lodging options in Flagstaff, I strongly suggest avoiding the Comfort Inn on Lucky Lane and stay elsewhere.…
We were tired tourists and looking for a comfortable place to lay our weary heads for the night. We’d found the perfect b&b online, near the quaint old part of Flagstaff, but it turned out it is now a private residence. So we started our hotel search again & found this comfort inn. It turned out to be a Lucky find on Lucky Ln 😉. First off, there was Genevieve at the front desk. Give this lady a big fat bonus check! She absolutely hands down made this place special. She was super helpful with tips of things to do in the area and directions on where to find places. We heard another couple come in and thank her for letting them know about Lowell Observatory. We followed that lead and that was our activity for the evening. This was my first time in Flagstaff. Only second time in AZ. Genevieve’s warm welcome meant the world to me. It was so wonderful to encounter someone so genuine and caring. The hotel was comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was adequate & again the person handling the breakfast area was very friendly. The staff we encountered here made all the difference. The hotel was standard and beds were comfortable.…
This was one of the best hotels we have been in, and appeared to be quite new. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. From the minute we entered the staff was friendly and helpful. Did not go to breakfast since we had to leave for an appointment.
We were disappointed that the pool was closed and no breakfast was served due to Covid 19 fears. While that was not necessarily the hotel's fault, we should have been warned during booking or compensated for the loss of amenities. We booked this place for these two items specifically. The room could have been cleaner. We found an entire can of beer between the chair and wall. Yuck.We notified the staff.
Right off I-40 and Butler on Lucky Lane. Inside room I have 2 double beds with 8 pillows, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, large flat screen tv, iron, ironing board, wood hangers, upgrade soap and shampoos and plenty of towels. I was told about free breakfast in morning too. Inside corridors with stairs and elevator. Sitting area when you come in that looks nice and not like a old run down motel.. Overall it's like a nice place to stay for overnight and surprisingly up to date.
