We had a wonderful "Covid-safe" stay. Our family of 6 (4 Adults/2 Children) requested and received 2 adjoining rooms on the 2nd floor. We brought meals we pre-made at home and heated them in the in-room microwaves. We kept food and beverages in the in-room refrigerators and our ice chests. We used the large, clean indoor swimming pool and best hotel spa we've ever seen. On-site check-in was easy (especially helpful young man, Alec). [NOTE:We went through Expedia, and I WILL NOT use their service again]. "Grab and go breakfasts were okay, and we appreciated the effort, rather than one more "we aren't doing that now". Ice/Coffee/OJ/ and cold water (to fill our personal water containers) available all day. All in all, clean comfortable stay!

Overall the room and hotel were just fine. Seemed clean enough and in a decent location. However there were no precautions taken for COVID. None of the front desk staff wore masks. Out of the several house keepers we saw only one wore a mask. They did not take the safety of their guests seriously nor care at all. If I was rating solely on COVID safety precautions I would give this place a zero.

Rooms are dated, but fine for a night's stay. Close to food, shopping, gas station and the highway. Vending machine wasn't working properly and the walls were very thin. The breakfast sack had expired donuts and two breakfast bars.

Quick bottom line: We would NEVER choose to stay at this hotel property again. On the plus side, our room was clean and comfortable, with a modernized feel and a small, cramped bathroom. Now for the minuses, of which there were several. First, this hotel charges a resort fee, which is utterly ridiculous. Guests get nothing--ZILCH--for this "resort" fee. It is nothing more than a pure money grab on the part of the hotel property. Second, not a single one of the three front desk staff we encountered during our stay was wearing a facial mask for protection from COVID. Amidst an ever-worsening pandemic, this is shocking and unforgivable. SHAME ON YOU SLEEP INN FOR PUTTING YOUR GUESTS AT RISK LIKE THIS!! Third, our shower had no hot water, although the bathroom sink had plenty of scalding-hot water running. When this matter was reported to the front desk, they made no effort to do a "make good" for the problem and offered no compensation or apology of any kind.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights there. The room had a king sized bed. The room itself was too small and we had nowhere we could lay both of our suitcases without it blocking the TV or walkway. I had to tuck mine under the sink when we were there to keep it out of the way. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable - we didn’t sleep well every night we were there. The AC unit was also outdated and would make sounds at night which kept us up. We ended up sleeping with the window open and dealt with the sound of highway traffic instead. There were some small stains on the comforter as well. There weren’t many parking spaces available in the lit portion of the parking lot most evenings, and sometimes these spaces were taken up by trucks/vans parked horizontally. Half of the tv channels did not work. Their breakfast offered was a bagged breakfast with bars/donuts/pastries. One of the workers was nice and let us use the pool area past closing. All in all it was not a great experience or worth the money. I’d look at La Quinta or somewhere else, it’s worth the extra money if you’re staying longer than 1 night and planning on traveling most of the day.
