This place is hardly up to Hilton Garden Inn standards. When we arrived the parking lot and walkways were deep in snow, with no signs of that changing. It looked like a bad 90’s hotel, maybe even a little Breaking Bad - vibes. Barely a step above a Radisson but with slightly better sheets. Upon check-in they told us that they would be charging us a pet fee for our emotional support animal, even after showing them our paperwork and our Hilton Gold status. Out of 35 states we have been to in the last 6 months- this is the first place that has done that. Of course they gave us a handicap equipped room, which I guess on the bright side was a little bigger- but those sad walkers in the bathtub are always a bit of a bummer. The wifi was absolutely dreadful, ended up having to run the hotspot from my phone instead. Because i’m a Hilton gold member i’m guaranteed a complimentary breakfast but they said they couldn’t provide a full breakfast due to Covid and instead offered 750 Hilton points which translates to $3.75 (Hilton pts. = $.005). I had to dig my van out of the snow and still got stuck attempting to leave because the parking lot was not properly maintained. I’d say to drive up the road a bit farther and do the double tree instead, which is what we did on our way back through town. Overall not up to Hilton standards.

Hotel's Favourite
We stopped here on our way back from the Grand Canyon. We had a very nice king room with a couch. The room was very clean. The bathroom was also large. There was a Kuerig coffee maker in the room as well as a microwave and refrigerator. They offered a continental breakfast for an additional $9.95, which we did not do. (There is a Coco's right next door.) There is a small pool and hot tub, which must be reserved during the pandemic. There is lots of parking.

It is always nice to recognized as a Diamond member (my husband not me :-)) right from the start. We were offered free water and breakfast vouchers. The staff at the desk and in the breakfast room were very friendly and very efficient. We happened to be in an 'adjoining' room type. One afternoon we had a barking, whining dog in the next room. We waited about 10 min. hoping the owners would keep it quiet but finally had to call the front desk and they said they would call the room. When my husband went to the front desk about 10 min later, the person there said they had to call the owners on their cell phone and it would take about 10 more min for them to get back to the hotel. After they returned the dog was quite for the rest of the day and night. I really thought that the hotel policy was if a dog was left alone in the room the owners were asked to find other accommodations but no they were just advised not to leave dog alone in the room. We appreciated that the hotel staff took care of this problem. Other than that, the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was not a hot buffet but the selections offered were very good and so was the staff. We ate in the breakfast room where the tables were spaced apart and wiped down (including chairs) after customers left. There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby all day, so that is nice. Parking was a bit tricky since it had snowed the night before we arrived and the parking lot was not completely cleared. Had to really be careful getting in and out of the car.

We have 2 rooms reserved today ( 3 to be exact under a different name) at 936am they called us to ask if we would like to change the rooms to conjoining rooms. We agreed, we came in at 236pm and was told that we cant check in becausr the room is not ready, at 337 pm we are still waiting they told us that it is still not ready! 348pm we finally got ONE of two rooms, This is not acceptable, we were called at 936am but the room is not ready at the time it shouldve been available. They should never have called us to begin with. As a customer, we are under the impression that the check in time is 3pm,, the fine print DOESNT say it May not be available.. When we complaint Patricia said that this wouldnt happen if we choose to stay in the available room..WELL THIS WOULDNT HAPPEN IF THEY DIDNT CALL US TO OFFER THE CONJOINING ROOM at 936 am! I wouldnt even know it was an option before had she not offered it. Why do I feel like it was my faukt and I went out of my way and personally requested that room. I hope that this never happen to other individual this is not how Hilton does their business/ customer service.

Service was excellent. My wife had shrimp Alfredo, which she said was good. I had the chicken Parmigiano, which was the disappointing part. It was a frozen piece of breaded chicken, with a small portion of cheese on top, microwaved so the crust was tough. The tendons hadn't been removed from the chicken, and were inedible.
