Little America Hotel garners praise for its clean, expansive rooms with plush bedding and luxurious bathrooms, all set on picturesque grounds. The atmosphere is often described as inviting and upscale, complementing the overall experience of the guests. While the service is usually commended for its professionalism and friendliness, there have been a few inconsistencies noted. Despite critiques regarding overpriced dining and less appealing deals, the hotel remains a favored destination for its prime location and commendable cleanliness.

This was the best hotel we stayed in on our tour across US, it was lovely.
Rooms were well appointed, microwave, iron, tea/coffee machine included.
Decor was tasteful, and loved the large bathroom. Public areas were also nice with a lovely gift shop.
Only downside was we were only here for a couple of nights, wouldn’t have minded staying longer.

Overnight stay on a special occasion offered a pleasant stay once we got to our room. Touchless check-in didn’t quite work out but only required a few minutes to obtain the room key with a pre-check-in by smart phone. The reason that I did not give this facility 5 stars was because it was needlessly difficult to find our room and the right place to park. This is a large facility and there are several “lodges” none of which had sign numbers on them. We were given a very tiny “map” and told our room was in Lodge #1 but not told that the lodges were not signed nor which door to use to get to our room easily. Why tell us it is #1 when there is no number or sign on the building? Staff member we met in the hallway acknowledged the lack of numbers outside and stated that the issued had been brought up to management but nothing was done about it. We were directed down a long hallway but we found ourselves far from the door we had entered. Heavily encumbered by luggage, one does not want to have to guess which outer door to enter and then wander the halls to find the correct room. Once inside our room we were happy that we chose Little America. Our room was large and nicely appointed. The bathroom was the best I have encountered in all my years of traveling all over the US and was beautifully designed with an outer and inner room for ease of use by two people. Mirrors are in both rooms but also on the French doors to the bathrooms giving a full length view of front and back. Nice! A sofa plus side chair and desk chair gave plenty of seating space. Credenza with refrigerator drawer and good size safe was uniquely useful. Since I am not able to digest either coffee or tea, I would have appreciated hot chocolate to be included. Due to Covid restrictions the restaurant was only offering a very limited menu of room service non of which enticed this visitor. While this stay was pricey, I was able to take advantage of a much appreciated discount offered on booking. For a special occasion, it was worth it and we would definitely consider a return.

It was a delightful stay. The room was impeccable, tasteful, unique (wood work such as tables and head beds, etc.) Great newly renovated bathroom with a glass door, patio with a sliding door with the view at the forest. Great service: exaggeratedly respectful, no micromanaging, no unlawful "masking" guests "due to covid," really, just perfect. The doors and the entire property are equipped for wheelchairs, very smooth, the door opens when one presses the button (made for wheelchair users but can be used by anyone). Was very easy to push the cart. Great stay!

Everything about the Little America Hotel is excellent, from the time you enter and check in at the front desk to the time you check out. The Staff is exceptionally courteous, informed and eager to accommodate your requests and/or questions. This was the very first time I stayed here for three nights and was thoroughly impressed by the care and upkeep as well as the rooms and surrounding areas, beautifully landscaped with walkways outdoors and all large buildings connect with indoor corridors as well as elevators to the second floor, ample parking. Ate in the dining room on four occasions, breakfast was delicious and they have a special every night as well as a a menu with something for everyone. The Gift Shop is a shopper's delight. I would not hesitate to recommend the Little America Hotel if you are in the Flagstaff area.

We booked a room for the night at Little America Hotel (aka The Bed Bug motel). It had very good curb appeal. The room looked good from a distance, but the second we slipped into the sheets we made surprise guest appearances in ‘A Bug’s Life’. Our room had two queen beds and we felt itchy in both of them. If you want to pay $150 for a shower, then go ahead and book a room because the shower was the only amenity we were satisfied with. We also ordered food, a potato, egg, and cheese burrito (vegetarian) and it had bacon on it. We had only been there 2 hours max and when we called the front desk, we were offered another room. We were skeptical, so we just asked for a refund (again, $150), but they would not give us a refund.

I was very dissatisfied from the start, after checking in and going to rooms which I booked 2 a king and queen. The rooms were not adjoining all though you can if correctly planned by staff. Not great when you have 3 young kids which meant my wife snd I slept in separate rooms on our trip. Then the one room had dried catchup on the table see photo below. Called down asked why they would separate a family when the ability to adjoin is available and to please send someone to clean dirty room. They had mentioned that because I did not book through them hard to see room requirements. I asked if they could see how many children and adults and they said yes but said sorry we are full and nothing they could do. I am sorry but after spending over a thousand dollars there in rooms not including dinning and bringing a couple more families up I am very disappointed on the treatment. Just very disappointing, so beware if you book not through hotel.

The best hotel I have been in so far. Literally I could live here.. I think this is when there is no point mentioning whether rooms are tidy or spacious or if there is enough space for parking. Because it's just too obvious. When you enter the room you see that everything is in its place, even colors are matching, interior design is perfect. It's calm, quiet and comfy. The perfect hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Super comfortable room with amazing beds, roomy and a beautiful view from the balcony. It was nice that they had coffee maker and fridge, and a bar area where we could keep all our snacks and such. The grounds were immaculate with rambling trails and a hiking trail that starts just behind the hotel! So cool. Pool area was good too. They were very good about COVID precautions here which we appreciated - lot of cleaning, masks required in common areas, and staff at the pool disinfecting used pool chairs and limiting guests if needed to allow for social distancing (although we never had a problem getting into the pool area while we were there). Really great place for kids, we will definitely return.

We stayed for 2 nights while passing through on a cross-country move. This place was so nice, well exceeding our expectations. The hotel renovation was completed a couple of years ago but still shows almost no wear. The entire hotel was decorated and furnished so nicely that it felt like a really high end resort. The grounds were beautiful. The room was spotless. The layout of the bathroom is ideal, with an additional sink outside of the private bathroom, but still separate from the bedroom and entryway. The staff was so friendly and the food in the restaurant was really good. My only gripe would be that there is not a laundry room in the hotel. You have to walk over to the Sinclair truck stop (which is sort of a part of the resort). It’s a nice truck stop and gas station, but a truck stop and gas station, nonetheless. The washers and dryers were not very clean inside. We found that they all had body hair and other debris from the truckers and other guests. And trekking all the way over there with all of our laundry was far less than ideal, as a whole. There were also only 4 machines and the place stays very busy. We were lucky to find two of the machines free. If the hotel took away just one guest room or one utility closet and installed a couple of washers and dryers strictly for the use of hotel guests, this would be a game changer. After traveling 2000 miles we needed to do laundry and having to do it in a truck stop was really very disappointing (and kind of an uncomfortable experience, honestly). Otherwise, this hotel was absolutely perfect. We will be living only 7 hours or so from Flagstaff and intend to visit the area regularly because of how lovely it is. We will certainly return to this hotel, but with hopes that the laundry room situation will be revisited by the owners.

Nice clean room, the food and service was great. Because of the pandemic, we ate in our room and were really happy with the food quality delivered to our room. Their fish and chips are outstanding and they even have malt vinegar, not always available in a room service delivery. Bed comfortable, Room clean. Staff friendly. Nice and quiet.

It's about 90 miles from Flagstaff to the South Rim entrance (I-40 W to AZ-64 N), so you're looking at minimum 1 & 1/2 hour's drive one-way if there are no traffic delays or back-ups.
