Staying in town on a night when all eating places where closed - directed to try Buffalo Gap; it's worth the drive. Great steaks and sandwiches, fun atmosphere, 100% sure to meet a real cowboy here. My business partner and I had an enjoyable evening...enjoyed laughing with the locals.

We patronized Buffalo Gaps restaurant in the past and was pleased. We drove from Medora this labor day weekend to listen to their Sat. Night entertainment but first eat dinner inside. The waitress said the dinner is served on the patio outside. There we paid $21.50 buffet for corn - horrible dried out, baked potatoe, a cold roll, flies were...

Simple and Rustic! Very affordable and everything that you need. It is a great place to stay with pets. We had a cabin and enjoyed the space. There is a restaurant on site which is nice since it is 7 miles west of Medora. Food was average and a bit overpriced for what you got. People were nice and we...

As previous reviews have stated - this is not the place that everyone will enjoy. If you want a true feel of the old west this is for you. The room we had was in the older section & could most certainly use new mattresses & carpet. The rooms have two full size beds, a set of bunk beds, a...

This place gave our family a true North Dakota, western experience with its location, room decor, delicious food, and warm hospitality. The huge back porch was a great place for us all to gather and enjoy the views of the Badlands.

Rooms are dark, dingy and dirty. Everything needs some level of repair. Doors have huge gaps in their seals allowing noise and insects in. Beds are worn out. Drains are clogged. Walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING on the other side, from quiet talking to the bathroom in use. Worst of all, the fire alarms were torn out...

If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet motel or campground with an amazing view, this is your place. If you are looking for a pool, activities, and a fancy room, this is not your place. Our room was new, it was fine, just nothing fancy. It is in the country, a few miles west of Medora. We ate...

We started our trip West with no place to stay. We looked on Trip Advisor and found this place will allow pets. We called the ranch and got a room for the night. It is a bit off the beaten path, but not hard to find. A long gravel road brings you right to the ranch. It's a ranch, so...

There were 9 of us along with our horses, first time travelling and boarding horses. The corrals are fine, each horse had their own, bring your own feed, do your own chores. The cabins are dated, they could use new blankets, lawn chairs and curtains. If you are looking for a 5 star this is not for you but being...
