The campground has very small sites that can be difficult to get into for bigger rigs. It has a great location near. It is one of two campgrounds located just outside Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It is within walking distance to a cute "downtown" area. All of that is worth the stay if you have your own bathroom and shower...

Red Trail Campground in Medora, close to southern unit of TRNP, and drive able to northern unit. A great park to visit. At campground Greeted by friendly staff, helped to site. Sites were close but OK, level with gravel. Facilities were a little old but clean. You can walk to shops and restaurants in Medora. In town only one gas...

Campground is nothing really special but the folks were great. From check-in (they will wait if you are running late) forward they are super helpful. Upon arrival, you are escorted to your space and guided to a perfect landing and even helped unhooking your toad and in our case, stowing your tow dolly. Basic amenities are restrooms, showers, laundry and...

The campground was very crowded , our unit was less than 6 ft from the awning of the next unit. The wifi was very poor. The only thing it has going for it was it was the only campground open in the town. If it was before September 1st I would try somewhere else.

The best thing this CG has going for it is that's it very close to the Theodore Roosevelt NP - South Unit. Beyond that it is average at best. Interior roads were dirt/gravel. Sites had fairly level gravel pads with fair spacing and utilities placed at the side (S) and back (E/W). Our site had good shade and a grassy...

The owners realize they have a captive audience here being so close to the National Park and obviously expend no effort to make this a place you would want to return to. The negative reviews of this campground are accurate in our opinions. It will do for a two night stay but the place really is sub-standard compared to so...

This RV park really isn't too bad. Aside from a few odd sites that should be simple pull-thrus, but are used instead as multi-rig sites (2 rigs, one behind the other in one long site)this could be a nice park. The sites aren't huge but they're adequate, with nice little lawns and lots of trees. The site we were in...

Staff at this campground are not friendly. RVs crammed in tightly, ground is uneven and mostly dirt, bathrooms are HORRIBLE! They look like they haven't been cleaned in about 10 years...compacted dirt and dust next to baseboards, floor filthy, showers scummy dirty, shower curtains hanging off rusted shower hooks, doors on showers and toilets don't latch, etc. this has obviously...

This was the most crowded campground ever. The management/owners have people with their campers/motorhomes tucked into every imaginable corner. The bathrooms were dirty and the whole place seemed to run on a lick and a promise. The small store/office and its more reasonable prices offers a valuable service in that the only other grocery outlet is a convenience store with...

this campground hasnt changed in 2 years. The camp sites are still uneven and mud holes. The little bit of grass was full of leaves and twigs. We were parked so tight against a tree and other camper unable to use our camper grill. The yellow jackets were thick. I am choosing a different campground next time.
