We were looking for a room for one night last week, luckily found Esteban at America's Cup Inn. What a lovely, happy and enthusiastic person! The hotel is old school Newport and very clean. We had an apartment room with a king bed and pull out couch. Fridge/stove/kitchenette - not that we needed it for one night but nice to...

the hotel is very pricey - you are basically paying for the location (it is perfect). the actual inn and rooms are maybe worth $60 a night - i've stayed at better super 8 and motel 6s. i will state that i am NOT a picky person at all - i could tolerate the outdated/dumpy feel of the room and...

It was my first visit to Newport and I was REALLY happy that I stayed in this place. Room is very nice , location superb, breakfast delicious. Just one minus - no parking at the hotel, so You have to park the car at nearby parking lot for 18 USD.

First time we ventured away from the "harbor hotels" and we were so glad we did. This historic beauty was a pleasure to stay at. And we saved a fortune. Parking a breeze. $18 per day with in and out as you please !!! That's a plus !! Owners and employees awesome. Try it. Try it Try it !

Spent anniversary weekend and it was spacious clean and convenient to walk downtown especially since parking is tough to get. Room has some wear and tear and bug stain on carpet but was very clean otherwise. Staff pleasant and helpful. We would stay again.

My daughter and I stay in America's Cup Inn every year. Location is amazing, close to shops, restaurants and marina. Inns prices are very affordable. All staff, especially front desk gentleman, were amazing. If you are planning a gateway Newport, America's Cup Inn is the place to go! We are definitely going there this year again!!!

Recently stayed at the America's Cup and had a very mixed experience. Agree that it is a quaint Inn and the breakfast was very nice, as was the woman who prepared it. And the desk clerk was extremely helpful, polite, and kind. Those aspects we very much enjoyed. However, when we called we asked about securing a quieter area and...

The location is right in the center of Newport, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and an easy drive to the beach or the mansions. There is an ice skating rink across the street, which was very fun. The dog friendly rooms are located next to the main hotel. Our room was actually a studio apartment with a...

I stayed here for the first time as a surprise overnight for my love on his birthday! We checked in and the front desk was so pleasant, we were directed to go enjoy High Tea in the sitting room which was quite a spread. The location is right on Thayer and extremely close to all the great restraurants in the...
