I have to admit we were just looking for a reasonable room for 1 night at the last minute and this is what I found. It wasn't very occupied but the staff was lovely and they upgraded us to a king bed room. It seems...More
Assuming you're on a budget, this motel proved a good deal in Newport. 10 minutes from downtown, clean, and straightforward, it echoes what an earlier guest indicated: it is straightforward and its basic amenities won't distract you from what you came to Newport to see...More
Needing a comfortable and reasonably priced room in Newport at the last minute, we fortunately found the Pineapple Inn. Convenient for using public transportation (we didn't have a vehicle) and cool room and comfortable bed during a hot and humid time. No frills, but not...More

The website is a bit convincing that it is a decent place in spite of the affordable price. I realize the season just started and the place may have a few issues, but i need to know if it is dirty. Lived in and quaint is fine, but dirty and or moldy i cannot handle. Please let me know what i will be getting into if i book this place. Otherwise It looks perfect for what we want to do for a short stay. Thank you. Donna
