We had a one bedroom suite and found it quite pleasant. We loved how cozy the rooms were when we came in from the cold and snow! Nicely situated downtown, near coffee shops and restos and of course the harbor. Lighting really plays up the good points, and we loved the ceiling and shutters on the windows. Kitchenette was great...

Stayed I March with a suite deal that included two $25 restaurant gift certificates. Parking was convenient by the hotel although due to central location I walked everywhere in Newport. Spacious living room area dining table and small kitchen included in addition to a separate bedroom. Bathroom had a huge shower but small sink area. Free wifi and good selection...

This was my first stay at the Newport Bay Club & Hotel and I was extremely impressed. I stayed for a weekend with my boyfriend and we pleasantly impressed. When we entered the lobby we were immediately greeted by a warm, friendly clerk who was more than willing to answer any and all questions we had and offered lots of...

This hotel/resort is right in the center of downtown Newport and in walking distance to everything. Parking could be a challenge in the summer but now in Jan the town is really dead. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all around is because the carpet was old and looked dirty but all else was very clean.

My sisters and I just recently visited Newport, RI in November 2014 and stayed at this hotel. You couldn't be more centrally located in Newport with shopping and restaurants all nearby / walking distance. This hotel is on the water so our room had a partial water view from the deck. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The townhouse style...

The fourth floor apartment offered great views from the two outside balcony's and the spiral stairs to the bedroom was cool.It could be an issue if you have large bags or any physical ailments. It is situated on Thames st .at the head of a pier, in the center of all the action. We were there the last week in October and it was beautiful. We had a suite on the top floor that was very nice. Each room had it's own balcony...sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking. Paula was especially helpful! She was a fountain of information with ideas, helpful hints, making reservations.... It was fun having all the shops and restaurants within...

“I can only speak for ours, which over looked the beginning of the commercial district; and which we loved. Sometimes it is good being able to judge the ebb and flow of humanity, for our own forays out.”
