This place is a dump! Bathroom was moldy, towels are frayed, bed linens are so old and warn that you could read through them. The owner doesn't understand the concept of being an Innkeeper and certainly doesn't "get" customer service. He doesn't answer the phone. I would not recommend this place to an enemy, much less a friend. It is...

My fiance and I stayed at the Pearls Boutique in Newport last week, and it was perfect! The room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, clean bath and our room had a view of the harbor which was unexpected and such a treat! The location is steps away from Thames Street, Peter is fantastic with his recommendations of restaurants, and...

The location of the hotel is perfect; in the middle of everything. The building is old and very charming. When we arrived our host offered a glass of the cool wine; it was perfect on the very hot day. Our room was clean with our own bathroom. In the back of the hotel is a beautiful garden with a nice...

Pearls was such a treat. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our host provided excellent recommendations during our stay and last but not least breakfast was delicious. Our stay was early in the vacation season so was relatively quite and cool enough in the evenings for a fire in the fireplace (duralogs only), which added to the feeling of romance.

My husband and I attended a wedding over the weekend. We stayed at the Pearls Boutique of Newport for two nights. The room was charming and suited our purpose for the wedding. We were walking distance to downtown and the wedding at the Landing. We parked our car on Friday afternoon and didn't need it until we left on Sunday....

The location of this hotel is very convenient, just a short walk down to the wharf and up only two blcoks away form the main shopping centre: The negative is that some of the buildings are on a very busy street. The hotel is pretty ancient and that shows. While we did have a very big living room, the bedroom...

We booked the entire facility for a wedding. It would have been the ideal spot for the bridal group to stay and have the rehearsal dinner and after brunch. Once I paid the deposit it was next to impossible to have a call or email returned. I would try 3-5 calls with follow-up emails during a week looking information and...

The owner and staff were wonderful, the room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately this property (which is actually 3 separate buildings) backs up to the very busy Spring Street so car noise and the voices of the bar crowd returning home from the pubs was heard well into the night and ruined what would have been...

Most of the reviews I read before booking were spot on. I like places with character and vintage aspects, so I booked it. Because the inn was sparsely booked the mid-week, cold, April night that we arrived, they upgraded our room for no extra charge to the #8 suite (blue/white;sometimes the bridal suite!). Peter greeted us when we checked in...
