Vacations come and go too fast, but we discovered a great way to keep the feeling of that experience alive. After checking in to The Kahala Hotel in Honolulu, we were offered a professional photography session that was reasonably priced especially for that type of service. We took advantage of this and were even able to choose the settings ourselves.... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We attended a wedding at this hotel and it was perfect. The hotel has everything you need and the private beach is your own oasis. There are even dolphins on property that are fun to watch and turtles too. The rooms are what you would expect from a 5 star property and have "smart" toilets that are an added bonus.... More

For those searching for a quiet intimate spot away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu The Kahala is it. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Check in was seamless until we went to verify the type of package we had purchased. It took two trips to the front desk, us calling Delta and then Delta having to call... More

My wife, daughter and I attended the Kahala Tree Lighting Event the day after Thanksgiving. It was a great way to start off the holiday season and by far the best holiday event in Hawaii. It was very festive with holiday treats, music and a beautiful tree lighting ceremony in their luxurious lobby. My daughter really enjoyed seeing Santa. Highly... More

The service was impeccable and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the smaller, more private feel of this resort to some of the more crowded places in Waikiki. Of course, the dolphins are a major draw for our family. Sitting on the veranda and watching them is so relaxing. Swimming with them is an incredible experience. We also loved... More

I didn't stay at the hotel on this visit but I did get a chance to attend their awesome, new Moonlight Wellness Series - Mindful Breathing Through Movement. Spring, our instructor, was fabulous! I was unfortunately the only attendee of the class that evening and I wasn't cancelled on(!) (which has happened on many occasions at other places due to... More

The Kahala Hotel and Resort is a quiet lovely smaller facility. Smaller how? Not as many rooms as several of those just around Diamond Head in Waikiki. But small in size is the only "small" part of the place. It is huge on service. From the moment I arrived, and was quickly greeted by Heidi covering me with an umbrella... More

We enjoyed reading all of the positive comments you provided and we are so delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. I selected this hotel for my honeymoon after reviewing their good reviews. There are some convenient amenities in the room, but in general, the service is horrible for so much hidden fees. There is nothing so great about this place compared to those 5 star hotels in the rest of states, which is better and cheaper. People in the front... More

Thank you for selecting The Kahala Hotel & Resort for your honeymoon. We are disappointed to hear your experience fell short of expectations. We do not have any hidden fees and we are happy to work with you if you have any disputes. We are a luxury resort and one of the few with no resort fee. We offer complimentary... More

First of, I should admit up front that I'm not a fan of the crowdedness of Honolulu, but was in town doing research for a book I'm writing, part of which involves the Kahala. Thanks goodness, because the crowds of Waikiki would have been terrible! The Kahala is elegant but not stuffy, and most of the employees seem genuinely happy... More
