I will make this review short and sweet because I haven't stayed here yet... My wife and I will be going there in March 2015. I just want to give you a little bit of information on how easy it was to book. Everywhere I go I look for veteran discounts.. I earned it might as well use it. I...

We did a one week mom/daughter getaway. It was our first time in Hawaii and I'm so thankful we stayed at the Hale Koa. We are adventurous and energetic so we only planned on sleeping there but we ended up using much more of their amenities then we expected. We never saw the maid but the room was cleaned daily....

Hale Koa is a excellent place to stay. It's right on the beach and the facilities are outstanding. However, it's a recreation center for the Military and DOD personnel. So not everyone can be accepted. For those who can, it's a great place and the best bargain on the beach. The room are large, clean and updated with everything you...

Pretty average place ... Rooms aren't bad, decent rate --- most annoying is that it exists for military personnel, but their service really isn't that great. Maybe it's because they know you're going to stay there regardless, but it just really bothered me ... I think I'll look at other options next time I'm in town. Overall, it's an okay...

I stayed here with some friends and family. It's a nice hotel for military service members and their families. The grounds are very nice. The pool is nice. It has a bar area and a snack bar incase you get hungry. It's right of Waikiki beach.

Hotel living is tough, really, it is. It seems like a dream, but it's tough. We were in the Hale Koa for 31 days as we were moved to the island and house hunting. We experienced almost everything the Hale Koa has to offer, and we loved it. Before I go into detail, make sure you look through your welcome...

The Hale Koa is a wonderful hotel. You cannot, however, go expecting it to be on par with a four star resort. You do, however, get what you pay for and then some. The rooms are good size, with a fridge, the beds are comfortable and the whole place is very clean with lovely ambiance. The pools and Barefoot Bar...

We always stay at the Hale Koa hotel when we are in Honolulu. We recently stayed there with our daughter and grandchildren. It is outstanding and sits right on the Beach of Waikiki, which means it is close to all activities in the local area.

What a fantastic opportunity for all military and other DoD personnel to take advantage of all of the wonderful things Honolulu has to offer. It's located right on Waikiki beach between the HNL airport and Diamond head, with shopping areas all around. There is even a PX right in the hotel. What's not to love?

It's true that HK is for military but non-military quests of military sponsors are welcome. Nice rooms, good service and several types of places to eat make HK a package deal. One of the benefits is covered parking at a reasonable price. So much is offered with activities and entertainment that it is hard to get away. Check it out.
