We loved everything about Surfjack. It was really funky, had a really great vibe and was in a great location away from the crowds but still central enough to everything. It was so nice to stay in a hotel that we really enjoyed. All the communal areas are great. We loved that there was a proper coffee shop attached to...

Absolutely LOVED my three night business stay in a 1-bedroom suite. The Surfjack has a great laid back vibe, on par with great hotels like Soho House or the Standard, but without any pretense or attitude. My room was spotlessly clean and super comfortable, the staff were all outgoing and helpful 100% of the time, and the food at the...

Stayed for about a week and loved every minute of my stay. Right from the moment I was checked in by the lovely and welcoming Channy, until the time I left, I was treated with friendliness, kindness and helpfulness. My spotlessly clean and gorgeously decorated room overlooked the pool. The atmosphere is very relaxing, great music is played all day...

Honolulu (esp Waikiki) is a tough place to strike a balance between finding a hotel that has character, is updated and relatively polished, but not really overpriced. The Surfjack, however, comes very close! There were many things about it we liked. It has a very inviting open-air lobby/pool area with a cool mid-century modern/nautical aesthetic that is pretty well maintained...

Too bad we only stayed one night! We had a wonderful stay at the surfjack. You get everything you need: beach towels, beach bags, bikes,..... Rooms have a really unique decor and are quite spacious. We arrived really early, but were lucky to be able to check in before official check in time and even got a late check out...

This is a great spot in Waikiki. The property has been very recently renovated and it has a great style and feel about it. The Pool, coffee, restaurant were all really nice. And very friendly, responsible and enjoyable staff and service. Only about 2 minutes walk to Waikiki Beach so I don't see much sense in paying the insane rates...

Close to everything in Waikiki, the beach, the shops, the restaurants, and its your own little oasis when you come back to the Hotel. We will not hesitate to recommend The Surfjack to any of our friends, and will look forward to returning ourselves. Obviously it is an old hotel that has been turned into a trendy really well designed...

The surf jack is a must visit! From the friendly staff to the great location one block from the main strip to amazing food at Mahina and sons I truly recommend this for anyone wanting an awesome Honolulu experience! It is 100% representative of the fresh new local culture that is taking modern Honolulu by storm! I will return.

From the moment you arrive, you know you are in for a treat. So cool, so hip, I'm sure the hipsters don't even know about this place yet. Do yourself a favor. Stay here. Eat here. Play here. From the staff to the decor, this place is a wonderful treat found in a concrete jungle of timeshare resorts and less...

This place is a real secret, and I full expect not to be able to get a room next year. Great food, super hip vibe. I really wish we had stayed here our entire trip. It's only a few blocks away from the main strip in Waikiki - easy enough to get around, plus you are closer to much better...
