My wife and I stayed here with our daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren in a 2 bedroom unit and absolutely loved it. The front desk staff are so pleasant and extremely helpful. The unit itself was really nice although I must say that when we arrived we found a hypodermic needle, attached to a botox vile, in the fridge and also a sanitary pad and several tissues under the bed in bedroom 1. Considering you have to pay a large cleaning fee we thought this wasn't great. We reported this to the front desk staff who were extremely apologetic and assured us they would take action to 9make sure this doesn't happen again. This aside we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone going to Honolulu

Great location, full kitchen & friendly staff. If you're more into airbnb than hotels, then this is the perfect place for you.

We love having a full kitchen so we can cook whenever we want. We liked the access to the pool facilities at The Reef a block away. We also like the laundry facilities as we do not want to do check in baggage at all!

We got a one-bedroom suite for our family of four. We are not super tall or big people so it suited us well. Next time, we might book a two-bedroom so we have more privacy from our kids.

The staff was fantastic! They always welcomed us with a smile and were super helpful. Our departure flight was cancelled by Westjet eight hours before departure. They helped to extend our stay immediately and gave us an excellent rate. We really appreciated that as we were worried about being "homeless" over Christmas while not knowing when we would be able to return home.

On Friday nights, you can see the Hilton fireworks from your balcony. The higher floors have a full view.

Great Japanese restaurant, Wasabe, across the street. Take out from steak restaurant at Pagoda is a must for breakfast and lunch.

Do be aware of the cleaning and parking fees. Some updating could be done in the suite and the hotel. They were replacing the hallways carpets during our stay so I'm hopeful it's better now.

Next trip back to Honolulu, we're definitely coming back to this Regency location.

The Regwnxy was close to everything. Restaurants, beaches and shops. My teens had a great time exploring the city night life they tired all kinds of food and gelato every night. Easy access to highways for other island adventures. The staff was attentive and wonderful and I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and has all the amenities to keep 4 teens happy. We made our own food as it was a fully stacked kitchen. The patios on both sides of the condo was amazing for both kids and adults and the view of the city and the ocean was a major plus. I cannot say enough about this condo and the staff.

Unfortuantely, I booked a room at this hotel due a price break alert that I received. I have an upcoming trip next week, after I booked the trip I thought I would take a look at additional photos on the property, too my utter shock and total dismay I discovered that this hotel has Mandatory fees Pay at property policy that reads as follows:
"You'll be asked to pay the following charges by the property at check-in or check-out:

Cleaning fee: USD 389.72 per accommodation, per stay (varies per unit)

Service fee: USD 67.83 per accommodation, per stay"

I have done my fair amount of traveling and NEVER have I seen fees as outrageos as this...the fees total up to more than an additional 1 night stay! This is insane! And more insane when I cancelled less than 10min within making the reservation I have to pay $362 for a 1 night stay! I can't even believe this - this hotel needs to BBB for unfair business practices!

First and foremost ridiculous “cleaning fees” charged right out the gate. I have a big family so needed two rooms. They charged me an additional $400+ dollars per room as soon as I checked in. Cherry on top, also an additional $39 per day to park our rental vehicle. So ironically after the onslaught of charges the rooms WERE NOT CLEAN!!!!

Ok guys I know most of us use a hotel primarily to sleep and rest after a long day of activities. But for the very least I would’ve liked to check in to a clean room and in pristine condition. The bathroom mirrors were not even wiped (still had writing from past guest who write when it’s steamy), there was beard hair trimmings on back board, tables felt sticky, outside chairs and table was dirty, and etc. Immediately felt as if I was in a cheap motel on the side of the road not one on a beautiful island in Hawaii. Many of their furniture is so outdated and seems like it was chewed up. The couch in the living room looked like it belonged on the set of ‘That 70’s Show’.

The only reason I didn’t rate one star because the staff is super friendly and immediately willing to help and give advice about surrounding activities. Also another plus was the ABC store that’s right outside the hotel and the quick access to Kakākaua Ave (Main Street). Other than the bad hotel experience, Hawaii was amazing and had the blast with my family with unforgettable moment. Will be returning soon we didn’t wasn’t to leave!

The staff are not friendly, they wouldn’t bother about you. I was on the lift with them and they were standing opposite and I was in the middle , they had no respect but talking to each other. The lift got stuck and both of them walked out of the and went away, at least they should have told me the way out. The toilets are blocked and every time I have to call someone to fix it. It’s not cleaned , dirt was on top of the fridge. If you are charging top $s , then I expect a better service

This property provides ideal access to the beach as well as the Waikiki strip. It’s a quiet tucked away location surrounded by unlimited dining options and is perfect for family stays. Convenience stores, malls and drugstores are close. One can walk to most places in a few minutes.

We had a travel agency book this hotel for us-it was marketed as a family friendly hotel and as a suite. It was on a side street, with nothing family friendly about it, the ‘suite’ was tiny and the lay out was awful. The tv’s did not work and the room was filthy. We checked in and left an hour later to a hotel down the road. We never got an any sort of resolution to our frustrations, the manager never followed up, either. I would absolutely not recommend

My family and I just stayed here and I'm writing this as we leave. When we checked in, Jacque and Z went above and beyond to make sure we got checked in, got everything we needed, and while we were there, made sure we were comfortable with everything. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!

From a quick Google search, it looks like it was built in 1961. I'm sure renovations have taken place since. I was just there in July and it didn't feel old and decrepit. Very safe area with lots of shopping around, in the heart of Waikiki Beach. Every room is a suite. They only offer 1 and 2 Bedroom suites. Very spacious! The kitchen (specifically fridge) came in handy for storing things before tours. You can go on Google Maps to determine the proximity from Hawaii Convention Center. Looks like 1.5 miles away - quick 8 min drive. Uber is available if you didn't want to walk. If you're too lazy to eat out, there's an Italian restaurant right underneat that offers tasty pizza!
