I was back in Hawaii on business, and I have been returning to the Kaimana Beach Hotel for nearly two decades and before that, when I lived in Hawaii, I used to bring guests there when I was assistant director of a museum in Honolulu. Why? Because it is the best situated hotel in Waikiki in my opinion. It is...

I stayed at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel during a recent business trip to Hawaii after a recommendation from a work contact who is based in Honolulu. I went for the cheapest room option (Moderate) and was given a small room with a view of the parking lot - nothing glamorous and a bit noisy despite being on the...

I was actually quite excited to stay at the New Otani. I've logged over 100 hotel nights in Honolulu at most of the major hotels. This was a business trip that was booked only 2 weeks in advance during the summer, so reservation pickings were a bit slim. It was here or the Ohana East. I chose here. San Souci...

I would agree with all of the previous reviewers comments about where this hotel is located, including how near the bus stop is located - allowing easy access to downtown Honolulu, the outlet mall At Waikele, the airport, Pearl Harbour etc. the view at breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day, and the food and service was excellent....

I recently stayed for 3 nights at the New Otani Hotel which is located just south of the main stretch of Waikiki Beach. My room was on the 8th floor and faced the ocean, which was lovely. Although the room was small, it had been recently upgraded and included a small refrigerator, a safe and a nicely appointed bathroom. My...

My family had recently stayed at the New Otani kaimana Beach hotel. It is smaller than those big hotels in waikiki, but it was nice to be away from the crowds. The Zoo, Aquarium, Diamond head is all walking distance and the hotel is right on the beach. Great area for the kids to play and swim. Everyone was always...

The New Otani Hotel is by far the BEST hotel on Oahu. This is the perfect place for a "stay-cation". I've lived on Oahu for 15 years and this is the perfect getaway for my family and I. The hotel is located near Diamond Head on Kaimana Beach at the end of Waikiki. The hotel is walking distance to the...

This is further down than the main Waikiki beach, but for the cheaper room price than all of those resorts and hotels, you get a clean, nice hotel on the beach! Bus stop is a 2 minute walk; Aquarium and Diamond Head are right there too. Instead of a car, we rented Mopeds and didn't have to pay a parking...

We stayed at this hotel the night before and the night of our wedding. To say that our stay at Kaimana Beach Hotel was amazing is an understatement. All the bridesmaids and makeup & hair stylists were in AWE of the view we had from our room! It was absolutely stunning and served as a gorgeous backdrop for our photos...
