The room we stayed in was a reasonable size for our one-night stay, and had:
king size bed; kitchenette with mini refrigerator, microwave, stoneware dishes and metal flatware; hand wash area with separate toilet and bathtub; closet.

The hotel is only two blocks away from the beach. We were next to a food store. within walking to chilies and Denny's and KFC and Burger king. The service was fast and friendly great water presser. Pool small but so close to the ocean.More

The upper floors will have a partial view of the ocean, and maybe some closer to the ocean will have a better view that others, but you have to understand that the hotel is about three blocks from the beach. There was a nice view of the Ala Wai canal from our room though.
There are only two types of rooms. Superior are on all floors however there are one with King bed and ones with two beds. You have to ask for what you want otherwise they will give whatever is available.
