Aussie family, we have stayed at the Banyan 3 times now. Most recenlty looked for somewhere else but couldn't find the same features. 1) Great location 2) Self contained so can cook 2 meals per day 3) Rec deck improved so BBQ OK since 2004. Main points - we have come here three times with two families (teenagers) with sep...

We arrived at the hotel and was sent to the 4th floor "REWA Office" I dont know why it was different from the rest of the hotel. There we found a ederly Lady who was the rudest person we meet in Hawaii. She was very unhelpfull and almost made us change hotels there and then. If we had not just...

We were there for ten days and learned to appreciate the hotel. The first room we were assigned was not what we expected, definitely below standard. When I spoke with the front desk, we were immediately switched to a better room. Very clean and acceptable. Service was great. Elevators are terribly slow. The mini-mart at the hotel is the best...

The hotel was everything we could have needed, with having a seperate closed off area for our child to sleep and the full kitchen for making meals etc ... one elevator was down for a few days so elevator service was extremely slow, but once it was...

My family of five spent a week at the Waikiki Banyan. The hotel staff were all very helpful and nice. The room was fairly clean and comfortable. It was really helpful having a full kitchen so that meals could be prepared in the room. Everything needed to cook is provided. The kids really enjoyed having a pool and rec deck...

I stayed here from March 7 thru 12th. I stayed in Tower II of the 36th floor. For what I paid for a discounted location, I was happy with this hotel. There was ample parking and the rooms were decently clean. The Banyan isn't a regular hotel but more like an extended stay place, meaning, there are pots and pans...

Last week we stayed in Banyan for 4 days. It's very clean and and good view of the beach. It's very closer to the beach too. It had all amenities that you can think of. Laundry in each floor was really helpful. Only thing the A/C was not good enough for the entire area, especially a bit of discomfort in...

Best holiday ever. No dissapointments here, spacious, clean and great daily maid service. Stayed close to top of tower 2 and had fantastic 3 way views ie mountains, city and ocean. Wouldn't hurt to update the furniture but that is the only critisism. Although from Sydney, Australia booked holiday on line with Hawaiian based company (maybe that's why we got...
