We stayed here for 1 week. I found the bed very uncomfortable. The tub never drained properly. The smoke detector kept going off at 3am. TV never worked proper.Very, very loud. We were told that we could get a late check out, but on the day that we needed it they wanted $75.The beach across from there was under construction....

To summarize what most people have said: - Location. You cross the street and the beach is there. There is some beach renovation going on, but it's not a big deal - not like the entire beach is closed or anything like that. - Location #2. The hotel is at one end of the shopping strip, so all you do...

The room is a tad small, and the bathroom needs to be updated (a bit worn and needs ventilation for showers!!) but we had everything we needed. Beds are incredibly comfortable and our standard room (pool side) had a marvellous ocean view! The hotel is right across from the beach, and most importantly, the StoneCold Creamery is right on site!!!...

We love this hotel and always come back to the same hotel every time we visit Waikiki. This is our 3rd time stay in Feb. 2012. This hotel is in the center of Waikiki and location is A+. Everything is walking distance. I have to say the hotel manager Jon and stuffs Lave, Kevin and Kamaka were the BEST!!! We...

The hotel room was fine, good proximity to the beach. The experience was like a week in a college dorm, with crowds of people with varying levels of social skills. The breakfast buffet was like a feeding frenzy of people in a rush pushing in an out of line to fill their little breakfast bags each is given. Maybe plates,...

We have just returned from a one week stay at the Aston. It is a big, bustling hotel with a continual stream of new guests and tour groups. For sake of definition, it is a "hotel" not a "boutique hotel" or "resort" - we were expecting a "hotel" experience and this is excatly what we got. If you want more...

Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel is pretty good. It's right across the street from the beach. It's close to tons of shops and eateries. The rooms are nice and spacious. There's a fridge but no microwave. I was shocked that you are charged three dollars a day for the safe. I've traveled a lot and never had to pay for a...

This hotel was a great value for what we paid for it, right across from waikiki beach and close to many things to do. Breakfast on the beach was nice they provide you with a lil cooler to take your breakfast, it is a continental so you have your topical fruits, yogurts, donuts, muffins, cereal... You can upgrade to get...

If you're looking for a low-end/mediocre hotel set on the end of busy, main street Waikiki, then this is the place for you. We just came back from a 5 day stay at the Aston with a school group of 17 students. The overall impression was average. Breakfast: this is included in the room rate, but BE WARNED, the quality...

This place takes some getting used to, but is worth going out of the comfort zone. Because it is a very BUSY location, the security is top notch...which means you have to get used to the elevator system-which I groused about myself the first day, but got over myself soon, when I realized it was me that had the problem-not...
