I have been staying at Equus for 8 years and counting. The location is ideal, in the sense that you are at the end of Waikiki and so not as noisy and hectic as being in the heart of Waikiki, yet, you are still close to the Mall, Sports Bars and State park Beach. The staff is very proactive, friendly...

The location was amazing, I attended a conference at the Hawaiian Convention Center, and it was located within a 10 min walking distance. This hotel is close to good food places, a few minutes away from the mall, and Waikiki. Rene was very helpful, she made sure I was having a comfortable stay at the hotel. Izabella and Glenn were...

A nice place near the shopping mall and downtown. Air conditioning and coffee machine are available in a room. A refrigerator is not that small so you can put food and bottles of water and you can make ice in the freezer. The most important thing is a nice service. I had a problem with parking but one of the...

A great small hotel. Air conditioning masks street noise. Stairs not an issue as Glenn the bellman carries your bags for you. Izabelle and Ramone at the front desk help you with all your needs. Go to Aloha Sushi and pick up an excellent cheap supper. Easy 4 minute walk to Ala Moana Center. Valet parking staff quick and worth...

I have stayed at numerous Hotel's in Waikiki, many of which are far more expensive. Yet I have returned here for my third visit. Let's not kid anyone it's not a top end Hotel. But it is currently undergoing some renovations which will improve it. The property is not big, but that's what I like and you can walk anywhere....

Yoshi at the front desk was very helpful. Having a dirty, roaches crawling on counters and uncomfortable cheap mattress that you can feel the spring on your back place to stay at the Marina Towers on your week long vacation was very frustrating and stressful! We decided to check out early and walked next door to The Equus Hotel and...

Cute boutique hotel, but needs alot of updating. Lobby was being renovated and was half covered in plastic. Rooms a little dark, carpet needed to be removed. We had to wear slippers the whole time we stayed. Bathroom wasnt cleaned properly. Service to the room was only done every 2-3 days. Dont think the bedsheets were replaced from the previous...

This is nice little hotel on the outskirts of Waikiki. Close enough to Ala Moana and decent food, it was great for a weekend getaway for my wife and I. Older place, but nicely renovated and clean. The only con to this place is that the windows dont do much to keep out the noise from the street below. That...

This is a great location where you can walk everywhere, including the beach and marina. They really treat you like family and the price is right! Home of visiting polo teams and many regulars that visit frequently. Don't pass this one up.
