We stayed at Equus for 6 days and loved it. The hotel has a mesmerizing décor and a lovely atmosphere that keeps you engaged. The staff is the best thing about Equus as they keep you entertained with their chats and their enthusiasm is infectious. Rene was a delight to converse with and was very helpful. The hotel is a...

According to the reviews I read, I asked for a room on a high floor at the back of the hotel. We had a double/double on the 7th floor and it was very comfortable although without a lanai (which wasn't a surprise). Staff was very good. Because of the location of the building on the Ewa side of Waikiki and...

I stayed here for 7 days on business and I can't say enough of how welcoming and professional the staff is. I love it because it's not your "run of the mill" hotel. Warm atmosphere and vibe. Trust me I travel around 300 days a year for work, and it's such a breath of fresh air to find a hotel...

The hotel's location was generally well situated and the rooms clean and pleasant. However, the rooms were pretty noisy because of traffic and some of our party had a difficult time sleeping. Overall a nice hotel, but the noise factor should be considered, particularly if you are a light sleeper.

Micah80ann, Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to review your stay, We do apologize for any inconvenience that the traffic noise may have caused you. This hotel is in the perfect location - a block from the water and walking distance from Ala Moana and tons of restaurants, etc. Very nice rooms, clean, parking is easy and an excellent value. This hotel styles itself as a boutique hotel with a bamboo-polynesian theme, plus horses. It felt a tad strange to me, but that was minor.
