Aloha! From booking to check out, extremely satisfied. We didn't spend a lot of time in Waikiki but this location was the best deal we could find and it was a great home base. The staff are really friendly, the hotel is very clean, there is an in room safe for your cash, passports and etc (if you feel you...

Stayed 10 days at the Ilima. The hotel is a little older but the room was big and the kitchen serviceable. It was clean enough to be healthy and sure, there were signs of wear and tear, but I've seen just as much in an over priced Las Vegas strip hotel. We were on the 12th floor, facing the Kuhio...

We stayed at the Ilima Hotel for 10 days. The room was unusually spacious with a large balcony and a kitchen, there is a proper bathtub in the bathroom. The beds were fantastic. The staff was very pleasant and extremely obliging to our wishes. There are even smokers' rooms in this hotel, unsual for the US and very convenient for...

we travel quite extensively over the years and are quite accustomed to the fact that things can go wrong. With our stay at hotel Ilima we hit another bottom.First ,we ,ve got room just above garbage bin.Every morning, 6am, garbage truck gave us a nasty wake up.Noise from the streets prevented us from opening balcony or the windows. We asked for different...

Aloha, We are very sorry that these guests did not have an enjoyable experience at the 'Ilima Hotel. Unfortunately, we cannot control the trash pick up schedule nor street noise in Waikiki. None of our rooms is located directly over a trash bin but there can be noise from other buildings nearby. The hotel was indeed full during their stay...

This was our first trip to Hawaii. We weren't sure how our experience would be to stay in a hotel, which isnt an international franchise. But after reviewing the reviews on tripadvisor, we took the leap of faith! Thanks to all honest reviewers, we had an amazing time. The hotel is little old but well maintained. The staff is super...

The staff here are lovely and there is free wifi in the lobby. It was great value and our room had a kitchen and was very spacious. The...

I stayed at the Ilima Hotel in Oahu with my husband, son, aunt, brother and sister prior to catching the Norwegian cruise through the islands on Dec 30th 2011. It is a very dated hotel. The hotel is very centrally located and it was easy to purchase food at a grocery store and find reasonable restaurants. There unit was stocked...

I came to surprise my parents for Christmas and found the Ilima as I was searching for a place to stay. When I've been here before, I've stayed on the Beach Walk. This property was a change of pace. Situated on a quiet street facing the Ala Wai Canal, it is so much quieter than staying on the "strip." I...
