We stayed here for 5 days in December 2011 and would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a clean place to stay with parking and within walking distance of Waikiki Beach. The staff here are lovely and there is free wifi in the lobby. It was great value and our room had a kitchen and was very spacious. The...

I stayed at the Ilima Hotel in Oahu with my husband, son, aunt, brother and sister prior to catching the Norwegian cruise through the islands on Dec 30th 2011. It is a very dated hotel. The hotel is very centrally located and it was easy to purchase food at a grocery store and find reasonable restaurants. There unit was stocked...

I came to surprise my parents for Christmas and found the Ilima as I was searching for a place to stay. When I've been here before, I've stayed on the Beach Walk. This property was a change of pace. Situated on a quiet street facing the Ala Wai Canal, it is so much quieter than staying on the "strip." I...

This hotel is not on or close to the beach, however it is within 3 or 4 blocks of a nice walk through International Market and the main shopping district to Waikiki Beach. It is a comfortable efficiency hotel on a quiet street with a beautiful mountain view from the unit I have stayed in three times now. The staff...

This hotel was fantastic value for money. The location was absolutely perfect for everything in Waikiki. This was our third visit to Hawaii but first time in the Ilima. We will definitely stay here again. The room was large with a great balcony and fabulous views over the mountains. There was a fridge, microwave and cooker in our kitchenette and...

Everyone, but everyone working at this hotel was friendly and went out of their way to make their guests happy. Rooms are very large and air conditioned, the hotel is extremely clean and the views from the higher floors are great. Looking forward to my next stay! The hotel itself is around 16 floors high and is a couple of...

Enjoyed our trip to Honolulu and using the Ilima Hotel as our base. Read trip reviews and decided to book this hotel; decision was a wonderful choice. The staff was friendly, excellent housekeeping (our beach trips carried sand in, no matter how hard we tried to leave it in parking lots!), front desk helpful assisting locating nearby places for dining,...

I stayed at the Ilima on three different dates in October, 2011. The hotel is in a good location, close to the Ala Wai canal and just a couple blocks off the Waikiki main drag. The room was huge, the air conditioner worked great (via remote), had an in-room safe. The beds were firm, but I like them that way....
