Everyone, but everyone working at this hotel was friendly and went out of their way to make their guests happy. Rooms are very large and air conditioned, the hotel is extremely clean and the views from the higher floors are great. Looking forward to my next stay! The hotel itself is around 16 floors high and is a couple of...

Enjoyed our trip to Honolulu and using the Ilima Hotel as our base. Read trip reviews and decided to book this hotel; decision was a wonderful choice. The staff was friendly, excellent housekeeping (our beach trips carried sand in, no matter how hard we tried to leave it in parking lots!), front desk helpful assisting locating nearby places for dining,...

I stayed at the Ilima on three different dates in October, 2011. The hotel is in a good location, close to the Ala Wai canal and just a couple blocks off the Waikiki main drag. The room was huge, the air conditioner worked great (via remote), had an in-room safe. The beds were firm, but I like them that way....

This was our second stay at the Ilima. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good internet in the room, but wifi only in the lobby. The hotel was under renovation starting from the higher floors, so they had not yet done the renovations on our floor. This was very well organised so it did not disturb guests during the day....

We stayed in a two bedroom, 1 bath room, that we booked after trying to book a second room on the beach and found that the price had skyrocketed. We enjoyed the balcony and the kitchen. We walked to the beach and had our pick of restaurants. I like the beach, but I'd rather save some of my money for...

We booked through THE website, 5th night free. Around 95 bucks a night. That is a great deal. You get everything promised. Large clean room, well equiped kitchenette, 5 minutes off THE beach. Cons: no wifi in THE room. Tip: THE bar NeXT door has wifi and happy hour. THE Ilima hotel is à good deal.

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Studio Suite for 3 nights about two weeks ago. The Ilima is central to everything, is a short walk to the International Market Place, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the where most of the shops are on Kalakaua Avenue. The room was large and it had a...

good (a bit sketchy, but great distance to everything) location, rooms were ok, nice to have kitchen facilities as we were travelling with a baby. however when baby is crawling you notice more stuff on the floor, not horrible but not sparkling clean. building is dated, but it's a great value. would probably stay here again, as we spent most...

AAAAAwesome hotel. I believe the last reviewer mentioning pests in the hotel must be A:Nuts, or some jealous competition for the hotel. This is the cleanest hotel ive ever been in, and absolutely perfect for someone looking for a nice place for around $100/nt. We paid $107. It has a full kitchen in even the basic room we're in, oven/stove,...
