Early in December, my family and I stayed for eight days at the Queen Kap. We have stayed here before, and always enjoy our visit. The staff are very friendly, and make you feel welcome. The pool and deck are cleaned daily, and the views of the Diamond Head are very beautiful at Sony time of day. One small concern...

Stayed here twice, Spring of 2013 and 2014. Simply put…I wouldn't have come back if I didn't like it the first time around. Granted some of the rooms might seem a little dated but they're clean and comfortable. This hotel is quiet, especially if you get a Diamond Head view (which is why I chose this place after much research...

Even though it's not beach front it's in a great location literally 10 steps from the beach. You have an amazing view of Diamond Head and the hospitality, cleanliness and food was amazing. It's at the end of the Waikiki strip across the street from an aquarium and the Honolulu zoo and a heartbeat from Diamond Head. I highly recommend...

Stayed here on a 20-hr layover on the way to another island. The front desk clerk was extremely accommodating by letting me check in 5 hours early! And a free upgrade to partial ocean view room. I could see Diamond head and the Honolulu Zoo as well. The pool was beautiful, quiet, and enjoyed the same lush views. My room...

I have stayed here more than a half dozen times since 2009 and this place just keeps getting better. The rooms are updated, the restaurant is open and the view from the pool is still unbeatable. The diamond head view rooms give you an amazing look at the oahu icon.

Stay at the Queen Kapiolani in November 2014, reviews of this hotel were pretty accurate and enjoyed my stay. You can see the ocean as you step outside the hotel, 2 blocks to the beach. Along the way is Teddy's burger place, Starbucks and a restaurant above Starbucks that serves all 3 meals and has a happy hour. I ate...

In October I visited friends out on north shore. For my last night, I returned to this local favorite hotel after many years. Still a great value and unbeatable location right next to Kapiolani Park. Just a few minutes walk to Sans Souci Beach and the Hau Tree Lanai, a great place for breakfast or lunch just above the sand...

I was moving away from the island on short notice. This was one of the only hotels I could get reservations with a short lead time. Now I know why... The rooms are old fashioned, small and dingy. The main issue, was that I awoke with bites all over my arms only to find my entire room was infested with...

Close to the beach, friendly staff, great price for proximity to beach. They upgraded my room to a junior suite upon arrival, so I had an excellent view of Diamonhead with a balcony. I couldn't hear any animals from the zoo.

The Queen Kap has been around awhile, but worth booking. A very good value for Honolulu. The upper floors have nice ocean and Diamond head views. Our room had a fantastic Diamond head view, tho we were on a lower floor. Nice size room! Cute lanai....with a couple of chairs and little table. Pool is wonderful, just a bit on...
