We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki for one night before flying to another island. The hotel is very large and has to handle a lot of crowds. Unlike other reviewers, our checkin was fine. Not spectacular, but fine and efficient. We had 2 rooms next to each other for the 4 travelers. We were staying on hotel points and as... More

Well..where do we start..first when we arrive on Monday 09th Apr !!. That's when the nightmare begins..not only the receptionists was rude but was not even cordial enough to admit an apology after delivering an inefficient service by them when they are trying to resolve our confirmed interconnected rooms booking...even after we showed them a confirmed email by one of... We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki. They really cater to the Japanese people. I was treated poorly at check in (even though I am a Starwood Member) and then was given a less than adequate room with a dingy atmosphere and cement wall that prevented me from enjoying the oceanfront view that I payed extra for. I complained and was... More

We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki from April 1 thru April 5. First full day in Hawaii, I had to complain to the front desk twice to get our room cleaned. We left our room at 0700 to walk around and find breakfast and do some shopping. We returned to the room at about 1140 to change and go swimming.... More

We stayed for a single night during a busy week in Waikiki on business. The location is ideal in Waikiki: close enough to walk to nearly everything, but because there is no beach directly in front, not as much walk through traffic as other waterside hotels. The night we stayed, the hotel was entirely booked and yet, it did not... More

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. It was a class act all the way from our check-in to our check-out. Everything was done efficiently. Whenever we asked housekeeping for anything, they delivered promptly. Whenever we picked up the phone and had a question, we were courteously greeted and our questions answered. Aside from the great service aspect you can... More

I had reasonable expectations when staying here again this year after having such a good stay in 2011, again I paid for the extra night for a late check-in for an early morning arrival of my flight from Sydney-it makes a difference going straight to your room after flying all night.I had a reservation for a King Bed & guess... We stayed for 9 nights in mid-March 2012 in a partial ocean room. Before seeing the room, we had arranged to upgrade to an oceanfront deluxe room for 5/9 nights. The partial ocean room was large with a foot stool the width of the king bed and always clean. The view was partial but OK - we could see the... More

Don't stay here. This hotel has no beach. It has a paved area with hundreds of chairs crammed on it. You call this "going to the beach?" Our room was small, oceanfront with a view of Diamond Head, Wakiki Beach and unfortunately highrises. The bathroom wasn't private. Part of the bedroom wall folded into the bathroom therefore looking like an... More

“Bed size not always available at checkin! Staff really does go out of their way to correct it, if possible!”

“I cannot fault the room. The bed & the pillows were heavenly, my wife & I slept really comfortably. The bathroom more than adequate, I prefer a separate shower , not one in the bath, but their shower curtains did not allow any water spillage. I loved the toilet / bidet arrangement very cleansing! A room up hight gives you wonderful view. We were on the 21st floor”

“Room on lower floor may be disturbed by the sound of waves if open the window. I like sound of ripples beating on the beach. It sems like staying in nature and making us forget being in town.”
