I have no complaints about the location. Yes being located on a very busy street causes traffic in and out, noise in the lobby and rooms but you should expect that being in such a busy and congested city. The hotel itself is old and showing it's age. We had a constant draft through the sliding glass door that sounded...

This is a hotel that is in the middle of town, kind of on the outer end of it. It is not in a great spot, but not bad. However, it is an exponential step up from the significantly more costly than Hilton Waikiki Village. The rooms are nicer, cleaner, better apportioned, and far more modern. The staff is warm...

We decided to take a 3-day vacation the last minute. Since it was during the Christmas/New Year peak season, I could only find this place which had relatively good location and price. Upon check-in, I got upgraded to a suite for the first night, but the free upgrades for the other 2 nights were sold out, so I decided to...

Just far enough from most vacation centric areas to make walking a pain and they had issues figuring out that we didn't have a car. Initially charged us for parking then it took 4 phone calls to get the credit.

Stayed here my last night in town. Was at another Hilton property and needed to extend my original stay, so was booked here. The hotel is on the busy (and construction delayed) Ala Moana Blvd. When you arrive, you have to walk up some very steep stairs to get to the lower lobby. I had a heavy suitcase and it...

The DoubleTree is in the Hilton chain and costs less than the rooms at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The location is great- easy walking distance to the beach and all the Hilton Hawaiian Village has to offer. Good clean hotel. A little out of the way from main strips of Waikiki but definitely within walking distance for adults. A little inconvenient if you plan to stay on the beach most days. It's on the main rain road so balcony pretty unusable due to noise. Buffet breakfast spread is ok but not enough variety to keep eating there...

Stayed here last week with my family. Short walking distance from Waikiki Beach. Lots of eateries around. Definitely a "middle of the road" type of hotel. Parking at $30/day is a bit high, but still ok considering how expensive taxis are in Hawaii.
