Our entire stay at Belle of the Bends was simply amazing. The hosts, Dan and Mary, were warm and gracious. Elegant southern hospitality. The room was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was fabulous. Felt welcome and at home.

We stayed for two nights at Ahern's Belle of the Bends. Our stay there was the best part of our 8 night trip. I wish we had planned to stay longer. The room was wonderful, and the breakfasts were lovely. The gardens and grounds were just beautiful. The owners were readily able to answer questions about the town and gave...

Mary and Dan are the consumate Inn owners. Every detail of our stay was superb! The home is an elegant Itailianate cira 1876. Mary's knowledge and love of the home's history is unparalleled. We stayed in the "Josephine Room" - beautiful, roomy, incredibly comfortable. This was the cleanest home I have ever seen!! The gardens have such grand flora, a...

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this beautiful, 3 story, Italianate mansion built around 1876. The house contained much furniture from the period; it was like a museum! What made our stay most enjoyable were our very thoughtful, gracious hosts, Mary and Dan Ahern. We've stayed in a number of B&B's in North America. Belle of the Bends...

I spent a week driving my Dad across Mississippi visiting cemeteries and Civil War battle sites. We stayed in 6 different locations from New Orleans to Nashville. Ahern's Belle of the Bends was the best by far. We booked the Rosehaven suite, with 2 beds in one room, and it was quite roomy and comfy for the two of us....

The neighborhood is a bit scary but the B&B is gated and secure. Yes, the train tracks are very close and even with earplugs you can hear it but surprisingly didn't bother me when I slept. Earplugs are kindly provided so you don't have to bring your own. The food was delicious every morning and the coffee was nice and...

My husband and I stayed at the Belle this past weekend. It was a wonderful place to stay. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The whole house was exquisite. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a lovely presentation. We loved the swings on the porches. They made a great place to sit and visit and relax. Mary and Dan...

My mother and I stayed the weekend at Ahern's Belle of the Bend and absolutely enjoyed the stay. The rooms were great with "goodies" each day on our beds. The breakfast was devine and cooked with love. The owners, Dan and Mary, are very welcoming and somehow are able to make you feel at home in their home. This was...

On one Thursday evening driving through Vicksburg on the way to a wedding, my husband and I had set up to stay at a B&B. Not knowing what a wonderful experience was in store for us. Having stayed at B&B's all over the country, I found this to be the most enjoyable and delightful stay I could have every expected....
