We recently visited Walla Walla and stayed at the Maxwell House in the Ravishing Rose room with Innkeeper, Penny. Absolutely fabulous! This craftsman house was built in 1904 and Penny has made it perfect with her furnishings and gardens. Penny knew the area well and had maps and tourist info available. She supplied us with bikes to ride around, made...

My husband and I had a very nice stay at the Maxwell House Bed and Breakfast. Our room was lovely--comfortable and well appointed. The house itself was extremely well located (about a two minute walk from Whitman College and 10 minute walk from downtown) and offered all of the amenities we could have wanted (parking, places to sit outdoors). Breakfast...

For a two-night stay, our party six enjoyed the excellent accommodations, the splendid breakfast, the freshly baked cookies and the service and pleasant company of Penny, the owner and hostess. Maxwell House occupies a spot very near Whitman College in one of Walla Walla's three fine historic neighborhoods, within walking distance of a fine historic park. It would be hard...

Penny is the consummate hostess. Her breakfasts are the best we have had at any B and B. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The house is perfectly located close to the college and downtown. it's also very easy to get to all the wineries, which is what we enjoyed during our stay.

Our eight wine group members took over The Maxwell House for a weekend of biking, shopping, eating, walking and wine tasting. Penny is truly a gem of a hostess!! We were greeted with freshly baked cookies and, after a tour, received the "keys to the kingdom." Literally! As the first to arrive, my friend and I were given the key...

We frequently go to Walla Walla for wine tasting and general relaxation. While there are several wonderful bed and breakfasts in Walla Walla, The Maxwell House is now our favorite. Penny, the owner, is a very gracious hostess. The 110 year old mansion has been tenderly cared for and restored. Penny's breakfasts were delicious and the chocolate chip cookies in...

We stayed 3 days at the Maxwell House B & B while on a wine tasting tour of the Walla Walla area. Penny, the owner operator could not have been any more hospitable and friendly. She was very flexible with our excessively late check in greeting us with a smile. The food was outstanding and served when she said it...

This was our first trip to Walla Walla, and we stayed two nights at the Maxwell House. Absolutely adorable little B&B, Penny is the hostess with the mostess, and the food was incredible. I stay at B&Bs frequently, and this left nothing to be desired. Our room ("Clearly Crystal") was just perfect - beautiful decor, super comfy bed, bathroom was...

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Maxwell House mid September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is a well restored early 1900's home very close to Whitman College and just a few blocks from the heart of down town Walla Walla. Our room, the ravishing Rose was surprisingly roomy, and most importantly to us, the bed...

When we headed to Walla Walla for a short respite and get away, we had no idea we would have as much relaxation and enjoyment! We went on a whim and called on our way to make reservations, realizing it was after the Labor Day rush. We are so very thankful we found Maxwell House. Penny greeted us at the...
