An old furniture warehouse converted into a hotel. At least 4 different types of flooring on the main level, an entry that feels like a furniture store, and a freight type elevator. But super attentive staff and a comfortable sleep.

I believe that if you know what to expect when staying at this hotel, and are okay with it, you won't be disappointed with your stay. This is more along the lines of a quirky boutique inn than a true resort hotel. As previous reviews note, there is no one on site in the way of employees or management after...

As the most expensive hotel town, 170 with tax, you'd expect some amenities or extras that would give reason for this higher rate. I'm assuming it's because of the spa. Since we were not using the spa, we wasted ~40-50 dollars that we could have saved if we went to a cheaper hotel. If you have kids, or just need...

A restored old hotel. The rooms are themed with colors and decor. I would say it is a "funky" place. Still has bits of the old decor mixed with modern elements. And if you need a spa to unwind after a hike in the Black Hills they have one. My wife I loved it. AND a great value for the...

Definitely adjust your expectations. Once we got in our room, we turned on the a/c (it was 99 degrees outside) and about 10 minutes later the power went out. The owner came up to "fix" it; 10 minutes later, the power went out again. The owner's response was, "I don't know what's going on." The wifi didn't work, and he...

We made a reservation for this place and then when we got into town we stopped to check it out. We were going to stay there on the way back out of town. The place a was deserted and not at all what we pictured. So since there wasn't anyone there to cancel our reservation with, we called the next...

We stayed here in 2008 and had fond memories of the hotel, so were quite excited to stay again on this trip. We were so disappointed. Where to begin? Bathroom: the shower curtain liner was very moldy around the bottom / there was no hair dryer / one bar of soap (for the sink and shower) / no kleenex /...

This place has a lot of good going for it as long as you have the right expectations. It is more of a B&B or Inn than a resort. It's clean, quaint, well decorated, and most of all the owners Julie and Joe, who have owned on this place just over a year now, are extremely friendly and nice people....

Echoing someone else, I'm a pretty relaxed person, but this hotel is NOT newly remodeled. Newer TVs, but everything else is old - mattresses, furniture, bedding, etc. The extra spa part was a ripoff for me. Message chairs are not included, hot tub had bubble wrap on top, and heated sand & stone rooms didn't work. Don't waste an extra...

While the owners are very nice people, there are some things you need to be aware of before staying here. First there is no one in property after 830-9pm. They do leave you a phone number to call if you have a problem, but let's be honest, do you really feel comforitable calling a random phone number to ask about...
