This is an older motel, but very clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and make you feel like long lost friends staying in their home! The breakfast was simple, but good. We were just passing through the area so did not stay long, but I would stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Three rooms on the second story of this motel have ground floor accessibility, by driving around to the back. Ours was one of those. The room had a front door off the balcony, facing the street, and a back door where we parked with easy access to the room. Very convenient. Breakfast is limited to bagels and donuts, but in...

Basic but very clean place. Friendly owner at the front desk. We didn't use swimming pool but it looked nice. Breakfast is included but we opted for the coffee shop close by. Good supermarket in close walking distance

Very nice owners. The motel is simple and very clean and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was continental style. There is a free miniature golf course for their guests. I would definitely stay there if in the area.

I like to try the mom and pop establishments, and Hills Inn is one of them. The single story rooms aren't old- they are vintage. They belong to an era when every motel wasn't a cookie cutter copy from the same chain. The layout was a little quirky. The A/C unit was in the narrow area outside the bathroom. I...

Great location!!! About an hour drive to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. Rooms are very clean with a nice fridge and microwave. The owners were delightful and very helpful. When we arrived they gave us a map and pointed out local sights and restaurants. This is the place to stay in Hot Springs!!! Enjoyed our stay. The rooms were...

A fine little place....you want clean and calm, with good value...and you get it. Hospitible front office, ....extra towels for the very clean pool, modest adequate breakfast, and a good location for Custer and Black Hills. Parking at motel door and good restaurants a short drive away. Nice people, nice place, nice price.

We stayed one night while passing thru town. Picked based on Trip Advisor reviews. As expected. Check in was easy. Friendly. Price reasonable ($61). Room was as expected for 2 star motel. Having fridge, microwave and coffee maker helpful. 40" tv, recliner and wifi too. Bed was more firm than we like, and bit of a strange location for the...

We have stayed in LOTS of hotels all over the world, some great, some not so. The Hills Inn is SO clean, nice rooms, amazing staff, great location. We will be back! Travel to this area once per month, so glad to have found a great place to stay!

Initially disappointed that we were given a second floor room which would necessitate hauling luggage up stairs. I was pleased to discover that our unit and 3 others each had separate entrances around the corner from the main entrance which allowed us to park right at our door. Though the room was basic with old-fashioned bath, it had the expected...
