First, we gave it such a high mark because it does have a great view, but let us tell you what happens if you are an independent guest. 1.) On arrival we were greeted with, "Oh, we thought you cancelled, let us see what we can do for you." Mind you we paid for this room through a travel agent,...

We were greeting by the General Manager who gave us an enthusiastic welcome and promises of great service and wonderful dining. Our room was spacious with a magnificent view of the mountains. It was downhill after that. We were part of a group traveling with Tauck Tours and were invited to a Salmon Bake and Prime Rib dinner our first...

We rate this place as number 2 of the 5 Princess Alaska lodges we have visited. This is the place if you want a serene wilderness setting and do not need to have numerous food and entertainment choices. The lodge is small (<90 room), rooms are large, lobby is comfortable with a nice fireplace, has a cozy bar that serves...

Traveling with a bike group. One night stay. Large rooms. Comfortable bed and TV. Wifi does not work in rooms but does in lobby. Quiet and nice air conditioner. Plenty of plugs and a well stocked gift shop. Coffee maker without refrigerator. Overall good location

We only stayed one night at the Copper River Princess Lodge. We arrived fairly late and we needed to do laundry, so we didn't have much time to explore the common areas of the lodge, but what we saw looked inviting and not overly crowded. Our room was spacious. The beds were comfortable and there was a nice working area...

We had stayed here 2 years ago on a Princess tour and hoped to come back again. Well, we did........this time we stayed for 3 nights on our own. Still love the terrific views of Mt. Drum from the great room. The ranger talk was interesting but the flag ceremony alone was worth the money for the stay!! Our room...

Stayed in this supposedly great place! We were very surprised with the poor service. May be there were many tour groups but that's really not an excuse. We were initially told that we need reservation for dinner and they r completely booked for the night. Being with kids and no other place for dinner for miles and miles, I told...

Management and staff were a perfect blend to insure your pleasure. Views from the property are breath taking. Lots of activities can be book right from the lobby, we chose salmon fishing from a raft...perfect! Management holds a public "retiring of the flag" ceremony nightly with participation by any veterans that are staying at the hotel. Wonderful and moving. Rooms...

We spent one night here on an 11-day driving trip (not part of a Princess Cruise). It must have been a "slow" day because we got a very reasonable rate. The hotel lived up to my expectations for a Princess lodge - though much smaller than the other Princess lodges in Alaska. We did not get to enjoy the supposedly...

Terrific views, large rooms, great food at the restaurant, comfortable chairs in the lobby looking at those mountain views, good bar, fun staff,,, Everything that you hope for in a resort hotel. I have been at 4 of the 5 Princess hotels and been very pleased at all of them. NOTE: This hotel is in the middle of nowhere so...
